party

Winter break is over and it's time for all of your college friends to reunite and celebrate after a long month apart. Syllabus week starts the beginning of the new semester, and everybody cannot wait to go out on the first weekend back. It is a time when our bank accounts are replenished and our tolerances are lower.

1. Drinking as soon as your Friday classes are over.

2. Proving to yourself that you haven't changed a bit over break.

3. Making your roomie join in on the fun when she gets home from class.

4. Ordering pizza for delivery because neither of you just could put down the wine.

5. Trying on every outfit in your closet because it's the first night out!

6. Going into your roommates closet because you're already over all of your clothes.

7. Now, to make yourself a new face for the new year.

8. Finally being able to play the pregame playlist that you made over break.

9. Plenty of Fetty Wap and Blackbear.

10. Trying to get the squad together for an Instagram picture.

11. Taking shots from the bottle your best friend gave you as a Christmas present.

12. Waiting for the Uber to come pick you up.

13. Jamming in the car on the way to the party.

14. Walking into the party like...

15. When you're feeling yourself on the dance floor.

16. When your ex tries to approach you.

17. You have the new year, new me attitude to go say hi to your crush.

18. Dancing with your crush the whole party but at the end of the night, you leave the party with your girls.

19. Drunkenly eating your leftover pizza in bed.

20. Waking up the next morning ready to hit repeat for Saturday night.

The Norse Creation Myth

Now, I have the everlasting joy of explaining the Norse creation myth. To be honest, it can be a bit kooky, so talking about it is always fun. The entire cosmos is included in this creation myth, not just the earth but the sun and the moon as well. This will be a short retelling, a summary of the creation myth, somewhat like I did with Hermod's ride to Hel.

We all scroll through the radio stations in the car every once in a while, whether its because we lost signal to our favorite one or we are just bored with the same ol' songs every day. beer on the beach

Summer is hot and humid, and it's almost like summer was made specifically to drink the refreshing, cold, crisp wonderful, delicious, nutritious nectar of the gods. Which is none other than beer; wonderful cold beer. With summer playing peek-a-boo around the corner while we finish up this semester, it's time to discuss the only important part of summer.
