15 Times Game Of Thrones Perfectly Described College
  1. When you are unfortunately stuck in a 9 am on a Friday, and, per usual, the same annoying kid is asking the professor to explain the same thing over and over again. Arya is able to perfectly word your frustration and anger towards the individual.
  2. How you feel when you're studying for an exam the night before, and you realize that you are entirely unprepared for it. Ygritte is here to remind you that you ultimately know nothing.
  3. How you feel when you are currently talking to no guys and have no idea who you are going to bring to formal when the bus sign up is due in three days.
  4. Jorah perfectly describes how you feel when you see the hot guy in your Political Science lecture and sit a few rows back to get the perfect view of him when you're not taking notes. You're pretty sure he's the hottest guy that you've ever laid your eyes on.
  5. When you are walking to class in November and you suddenly realize that you can no longer wear just a light sweater to class and a heavier jacket is now needed.
  6. Tyrion Lannister isn't the only one who is wondering why there are some unexpected guests at a place. Sure your friend may not have brought some knights clad in armor, but you are just as fed up when you see the girl you hate with your friends at the bar.
  7. When your GSI assigns a group assignment to do together and you're stuck with your least favorite person in the class in your group, Robb has the reaction that we all know we want to say to that individual.
  8. When you see multiple friends of yours getting back together with their significant others after they have been cheated on and there is nothing you can do. You have aired your opinion about that piece of garbage, but there is only one conclusion that you have come to.
  9. Khalessi is able to perfectly describe how you feel when your friends come back after spring break and brag about the fabulous time they had drinking on the beach and meeting tons of new people.
  10. How you feel when you see the boy who screwed you over at formal and was a complete ~jerk~ at an open party during sylly week.
  11. When you find out at chapter that your favorite fraternity is only social probation, and your America mixer with them for this weekend is now canceled. Cersei has the perfect reaction that we all relate to.
  12. Standing in line at the bar at your mixers gets annoying. When you finally get up to the bartender and the poor, sober freshman asks what you want, Joffrey is how we are whether we are drinking wine or taking shots of the lovely Crystal Palace.
  13. When you hear your alarm go off after a night of drinking, Robb Stark has the correct reaction for how we feel the next morning when getting ready for class.
  14. August has come around, and you realize that you are sick of your low paying job, high school friends, and not seeing your best friends every single day. Similar to Jon Snow, you realize that you need to get back to campus ASAP.
  15. Similar to Tyrion Lannister, you know one day you're going to look back at your college years and question why you did some of the things that you did. You're going to think it was stupid, but everyone makes those kinds of mistakes and learns their lessons that will help them later in life.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
