Summer is coming to an end. After counting down the days for summer to start I am now counting down the days until fall. I don't have anything against summer. Who would could complain about floating the river, hitting up the pool, all nighters, and nights out on the town without having to worry about bringing a jacket? Even with all those amazing things, fall holds a special place in my heart. September 23 can not come soon enough!

Here are 15 things to look forward to as fall approaches!

1. You stop sweating all the time!

Not only do you stop sweating you also start having better hair days. Curse you, humidity.

2. Pumpkin everything.

Pumpkin patches, carving pumpkins, pumpkin candles, pumpkin lattes, pumpkin pie.

3. The rain makes everything smell amazing.

The rain smells so earthy and makes you happy to be outside. Plus, I love splashing in puddles.

4. You can finally start drink hot drinks again.

I am looking forward to hot chocolate with mini marshmallows and whipped cream!

5. Leaves.

The colors and the sound of the crunch under your boots. Everything about leaves is amazing.

6. Football is back!

You can spend Monday night and the weekends with your family and friends cheering on your favorite teams.

7. Halloween.

I am looking forward to seeing all the DIY costumes.

8. Scarves.

I'm obsessed.

9. Sweaters and comfy clothes.

'Nuff said.

10. Boots.

Ankle boots, knee high, mid calf, rain boots. All the boots.

11. No more re-runs. All your favorite shows start up again!

Dancing With The Starts, Doctor Who, Modern Family, Shark Tank, The Amazing Race, Grey's Anatomy, Castle, Scream Queens, Bob's Burgers. They are all back.

Epic Creation Myths: Norse Origins Unveiled

What happened in the beginning, and how the heavens were set in motion.

The Norse Creation Myth

Now, I have the everlasting joy of explaining the Norse creation myth. To be honest, it can be a bit kooky, so talking about it is always fun. The entire cosmos is included in this creation myth, not just the earth but the sun and the moon as well. This will be a short retelling, a summary of the creation myth, somewhat like I did with Hermod's ride to Hel.

8tracks radio

We all scroll through the radio stations in the car every once in a while, whether its because we lost signal to our favorite one or we are just bored with the same ol' songs every day. You know when you're going through and you hear a song where you're just like "I forgot this existed!" and before you know it, you're singing every word? Yeah, me too. Like, 95% of the time. If you're like me and LOVE some good throwback music, here's a list of songs from every genre that have gotten lost in time, but never truly forgotten.

beer on the beach

Summer is hot and humid, and it's almost like summer was made specifically to drink the refreshing, cold, crisp wonderful, delicious, nutritious nectar of the gods. Which is none other than beer; wonderful cold beer. With summer playing peek-a-boo around the corner while we finish up this semester, it's time to discuss the only important part of summer.
