16 Phases Of #BestBuygate2k15

Social media was buzzing late Tuesday night after the Best Buy listed $200 gift cards for $15. The glitch was first noticed by Reddit users and quickly began trending on Twitter. Thousands of users purchased the marked down gift cards and posted their excitement over the glitch. However, Best Buy announced the next day that they were not going to honor the purchases. Thus, here are the phases experienced by victims...

1. Tumblr is always so entertaining at night. This is physical proof that everything is better at night.

2. Hold on... Best Buy is selling $200 gift cards for $15?! Is this a joke? Did I fall asleep? Is Best Buy dumb?

3. This website is probably fake, created by tech-savvy con artist wanting to steal my credit card information. But it looks like it really is Best Buy... and I am broke...

4. No, I can't go through with this. Best Buy made a mistake. Someone might lose their job because of this and it's practically stealing. My parents raised me to be a good-hearted, honest person.

5. SIKE, responsibility and honesty are for people who aren't racking up student debt.

7. I cannot wait roll into Best Buy on Saturday with 15 gift cards. The look on their faces will be priceless!

8. But... what if they find out about the glitch and charge me the full amount of the gift cards. I barely have $200 in my account, let alone 15,000. Am I willing to go to these lengths for a scheme?

9. Then again if this plan falls apart, I can always call Wells Fargo and pretend It wasn't me...

10. Wait, instead of buying 15 Macbook Airs, maybe I could just buy a bunch of Visa gift cards?!

11. $15,000?! I am going to buy a mansion next door to Justin Bieber with this money. Then he can invite me over to his raging parties and fall in love with me. Our children will be so musically inclined. This is the best thing that's ever happened to me!

12. I will finally be able to afford guacamole on my Chipotle bowl. Is this what being rich feels like?

13. I cannot wait to walk through campus next year like straight baller. Better yet, I am just going to drop out. Who really needs college when you're rich?

14. It's been over 24 hours and my order is going to be shipped in a couple hours. THIS IS HAPPENING. THIS IS REALLY HAPPENING.

15. Best Buy... did you really have to hit me with the "your order has been cancelled" email? This is exactly why I was always Team Circuit City.

16. Wait... was this was all an elaborate distraction from Prime day...

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
