One of my favorite things about the holiday season is that there’s plenty of movie options to pick from. With the cold weather coming in (kind of), staying in with a mug of hot chocolate and laying on the couch all day doesn’t seem like such a bad idea. Now, this isn’t all the holiday movies ever created, but these are definitely ones I tend to replay over and over again during the holly jolly season. Enjoy!

1. "The Santa Clause 2: The Mrs. Clause"

The "Santa Clause 2" is pretty much my all time favorite Christmas movie -- why? Because after Tim Allen finally accepts that he’s Santa in the first movie, now he has to find a Mrs! Now, that’s a great movie watch for me. Most people watch "Elf" on repeat over break, but for me, it’s the "Santa Clause 2." Plus, how cute is Charlie as a teenager?

2. "A Christmas Carol" (2009)

3. "Jack Frost"

4. "The Polar Express"

5. "How The Grinch Stole Christmas" (2000)

I have a lot of love for the Grinch, considering I’ve also seen the musical version on broadway. I watch this movie even when it’s not Christmas time. It’s funny, makes you tear up, and let’s be honest, we all relate to the grinch a little bit.

6. "The Santa Clause"

7. "Elf"

Clearly, everyone has some obsession with "Elf" (personally, not for me). But it wouldn’t be Christmas if we all didn’t watch Elf at least once or twice during the season. Also, It always made me want to try syrup on my spaghetti?

8. "The Best Man Holiday"

I actually just saw this movie a few weeks ago, thanks to my friend Brittany. If you ever want a movie that’ll make you laugh, smile and cry until you're hiding you face in the covers, this is it. I, 100 percent, recommend this movie, even if you haven’t seen the first one.

9. "Home Alone"

10. "The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause"

11. "The Nightmare Before Christmas"

OK, this isn’t really a Christmas movie as much as it is a Halloween movie, but I still think it counts. Personally, I love Tim Burton so anything he’s up to, I’m all about. Think about it -- this movie can be watched for two different holidays, how great?

12. Dr. Seuss’ "How The Grinch Stole Christmas"

This is just a classic staple Christmas movie for me. I could watch this on replay every single day. I love the narration, the animation, just every single thing about this. Go Whoville!

13. "Home Alone 2: Lost In New York"

14. "Serendipity"

Lately, I’ve been watching this movie daily. It’s just perfect. It makes you have faith in fate and brings you back holiday cheer. It’s a must that everyone watch it.

15. "It’s A Wonderful Life"

I don’t know how but, somehow this is always playing in my house on Christmas Eve. I’ll walk into the living room – and boom. It’s playing, then when it’s done there’s a rerun. It’s like my mom has a sense for when this movie is on.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
