1. They steal your clothes because they look up to you and want to be just like you.

I used to get incredibly upset when one of my sisters would go through my closet while I wasn't home. Then, I realized she just wanted to be like me and that made me incredibly humbled. Take my clothes, girl. You seem to rock them better than I ever could.

2. You get to watch them grow.

You were there for their birth, you were there for all the birthdays, and you get to see the incredible women they are becoming.

3. They like the same TV shows you do.

My sisters have enjoyed watching Bob's Burger's marathons with me and we all laugh at the same jokes.

4. You don't have to parent, you get to be their friend.

When they are upset, you get to be the cool one that takes them to get ice cream before dinner and you don't have to discipline them when they do something wrong.

5. They are not only your friends but your best friends.

My sisters and I share so much together, despite our age difference. They are two of my very best friends and I feel so lucky to have them around.

6. They will do anything for you, as you will for them.

Little sisters will literally do anything to spend time with you and it's the sweetest most loving feeling to know that. Not to mention, when you need to go get your nails done and shop at T.J. Maxx, they are your go-to gals for some "treat yo' self" time.

7. You get to be the cool one in the family.

Since you aren't a parent, you get to be the cool family member. You get to take them to movies, take them shopping, and be the coolest person they know.

8. You know the best presents to get them.

You remember the exact stuff you liked as a kid and now can give the best gifts to your sisters.

9. You get to be in their corner.

No matter what happens I am always there to go kick some 10-year-old butt on the playground if someone hurts their feelings.

10. I don't judge them and they don't judge me.

It doesn't matter what we say or do, our love for each other never lessens. I may give a little signal once in a blue moon when someone's being too sassy, but I'd never judge them for anything. I mean I'm pretty sure I'd help hide a body for my sisters.

11. The support system.

I am my sisters' biggest fans and they are mine. I will be the loudest one cheering in the crowd for anything they do. I will be the person that gets kicked off the golf course at State Finals for screaming when you make the putt. I will be yelling both your names while you walk down the aisle at graduation.

12. You have locked in bridesmaids.

No matter what you do, or whom you marry, you have bridesmaids that will kill it in brides maids dresses and know how to talk you down when you're having a bridezilla moment.

13. They can talk to you about anything.

Their first periods, first crush, 500th girl fight, you can help them through it because one, you aren't mom, and two, you can give them the best advice and they know it.

14. No matter if you fight, you always stick together and make-up.

I've gotten heated once or twice when my favorite sweater went missing, but no matter what my heart is filled with nothing but love for the two best sisters on this planet.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
