Okay, before you guys judge me too harshly, there are a lot of things I love about summer. But let’s get real - there are also a lot of terrible things that happen. I mean realistically couldn’t we just have 12 months of fall?! A girl can dream. Anyways, these are the reasons why summer can just be too much sometimes, as told by Tina from "Bob's Burgers."
The constant pressure to get out and do something.
No more Netflix and chill for you. Instead you will be outside sweating and being eaten alive by mosquitoes.
Bugs.
Wasps, mosquitoes and flies, oh my!
Humidity.
Feeling like you need a shower every time you walk outside. No thanks.
Chafing.
Chafing in places you didn't even think were possible. Happens to the best of us.
Allergies.
Need I say more?
Body pressures.
Because suddenly you feel the need to have a six pack and I’m not talking about your favorite beer.
Sweat.
Because, gross.
Sunburn.
Yes, that peeling skin is so sexy. And the days of pain are so worth that tan you are going to get.
Friday afternoons.
Summer makes Friday afternoons almost unbearable. Mainly because you are stuck working and not enjoying them.
Smells.
There are definitely a lot more unpleasant smells in the summer months. Like other people’s body odor magnified by extreme heat.
Copious amounts of FOMO.
FOMO, or the fear of missing out, runs rampant as you watch all your Facebook friends go on endless vacations, concerts and adventures.
Gas prices.
Through the roof. which in turn makes it kind of hard to take all those sweet road trips you and your friends talked about all winter.
Public pools.
Too many unsupervised children running around. And grown adults peeing in the pool.
