13 Reasons Why A Dog Is The Best Valentine
Melissa Dean

It's yet again that time of the year. Valentine's Day. For whatever reason, a good amount of people stress over this Hallmark-created holiday either because they have a date and they want to make it special, or because their single and feel "forever alone." If you're like me, you're in the single boat just sailing away waiting for your time to come. However, I am not valentine-less this year. Why? Because what better valentine could I have than my dog?! Here are some reasons why your dog is the best valentine to have.

1. Whether you decide to wear something nice or kick back in some sweats, they will think you look HOT.

2. You don't have to go out and spend a bunch of money on them. You probably will though...

3. You won't have to share your chocolates, candy, or ice cream with them. But then again you probably will.

4. You can choose the sappiest movie to watch and they will not complain one bit.

5. They will be more than willing to retake as many photos as you'd like until you get that perfect candid Insta pic.

6. They will cuddle with you all night long.

7. The only thing that they will be expecting at the end of the night is your love.

8. They won't rush or judge you on how long you're going to take to get ready.

9. You won't catch them looking at someone else. All eyes will be on you.

10. There's no pressure, they already love you, so you don't have to be nervous.

11. You can sing to them and they will think it's really good.

12. They will make you feel like the most special person for the night...but then again don't they always?

13. I mean...just look at that face!

Epic Creation Myths: Norse Origins Unveiled

What happened in the beginning, and how the heavens were set in motion.

The Norse Creation Myth

Now, I have the everlasting joy of explaining the Norse creation myth. To be honest, it can be a bit kooky, so talking about it is always fun. The entire cosmos is included in this creation myth, not just the earth but the sun and the moon as well. This will be a short retelling, a summary of the creation myth, somewhat like I did with Hermod's ride to Hel.

8tracks radio

We all scroll through the radio stations in the car every once in a while, whether its because we lost signal to our favorite one or we are just bored with the same ol' songs every day. If you're like me and LOVE some good throwback music, here's a list of songs from every genre that have gotten lost in time, but never truly forgotten.

Summer is hot and humid, and it's almost like summer was made specifically to drink the refreshing, cold, crisp wonderful, delicious, nutritious nectar of the gods. Which is none other than beer; wonderful cold beer. With summer playing peek-a-boo around the corner while we finish up this semester, it's time to discuss the only important part of summer.
