Everyone says college is the best four years of your life. And that’s true if you've found the right college, of course. College is like living at a summer camp that your parents never have to pick you up from — what could be better? So, take it all in. Be silly. Be kinder than necessary to everyone around you. Live and relive in the small moments you may take for granted because you’ll never get these memories back.
1. Whenever you leave for a break, it feels like you're coming home when you return.
2. You spend your days exploring your city or relaxing in your dorm with your BFFs (and you love both)!
3. You argue with your high school friends about which college town is the best.
And yours is, obviously.
4. You call your school/dorm "home."
Dorm sweet dorm.
5. You deck out everything you own in your college's stickers and colors so everyone knows where you go to school.
Redbubble: every college's kids number one source for expressing him or herself.
6. You're comfortable being yourself, no matter how silly you may act, crazy you may feel or ridiculous you may seem to others.
7. You've made best friends that just get you, and you'll know you'll have them for the rest of your life.
8. Move in day is better than Christmas, Hanukkah, your birthday and Thanksgiving all rolled into one.
And that's saying a lot.
9. Breaks are just too long, and the school year is just too short (but you would have never said that before you went to college).
10. Nights in spent with friends are just as fun, if not more, as those spent out.
11. There will always be a little part of you that wants to stay in college forever.
I see no problem with this.
