Once just a correspondent on the "Daily Show," John Oliver now has his own show on HBO in which he calls out the absurdity in everything from the poverty of chicken farmers to white-washing in Hollywood to net neutrality. Here are just a few of his best lines.

1. When he explained why the people of Ferguson were still angry.

There are a lot of opinions about the Black Lives Matter movement but John simplifies it to a point where everyone can understand.

2. When he said what everyone needs to hear about climate change.

Say it louder for the people in the back who still deny the fact that the Earth's temperature is changing because of humans.

3. When he called out Congress.

He may have been in the Daily Show at this point, but he finally said what everyone was thinking and this is when America began to love him.

4. When he also called out anyone who doesn't think the Confederate flag is racist.

Amazingly there are still people who don't think the Confederate flag is racist but hopefully John has educated then on that.

5. When he spoke the truth about sex ed.

Students can't do taxes or know how to use a condom but we sure did memorize the quadratic formula.

6. When no truer words had been spoken about student debt.

Of all his analogies, this has to be one of the best because it is true for pretty much everyone who ever went to college.

7. When he put America's hunger problems in terms we could all understand.

Including a dig at Trump while highlighting the fact that America has a problem it can easily solve, well played Mr. Oliver.

8. When he had this response to which poverty line poor people should be using to measure their quality of life.

This is what all people not living around the poverty line need to hear.

9. When he wasn't wrong when he pointed this out.

He said what we are all thinking, ok people.

10. When he plainly spelled out what people's opinions on transgender people should be.

When Barbara Walters asked what was 'down there' to Caitlyn Jenner, Mr. Oliver described what everyone should think when that question is asked.

11. Finally, these beautiful lines about the OG refugees.

Stay amazing John Oliver, you beautiful, foul-mouthed Brit.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
