Unless you live under a rock, you have heard of the new app "Pokemon Go." It has basically taken over the internet. On the first day, three people texted me asking if I had the game. I downloaded it that night, and here are 11 things that I have learned since.
1. It's hot outside.
Ever since getting the app, I've started walking more. And damn, it's hot out.
2. Zubats are a nuisance.
They're everywhere.
3. My DS still works.
Yes, I did dig out my old Pokemon game. No, I haven't beaten it yet...
4. The show is on Netflix.
5. The theme song is catchy.
YOU'LL TEACH ME AND I'LL TEACH YOU! POKEMONNNNNNNNN!
6. The paw prints under the "nearby" Pokemon equates to about 100 meters.
Or about one football field.
7. I don't have unlimited data.
OK, I already knew this. But I learned that it goes fast.
8. There aren't many Pokemon on the Appalachian trail.
9. LifeProof cases work.
Maybe I dropped my phone in a creek trying to catch a Bellsprout, maybe I didn't.
10. I still love Pokemon.
And I'm not afraid to admit it!
11. I gotta catch 'em all.
I know it's my destiny. (Pokemon!)
