It's well after recruitment, and you're trying to go on about your lives. You try to get to know the pledge class and hope that all your hard work paid off. But still, you're suffering from PRSD (post recruitment stress disorder). It's a real thing, and it doesn't just go away on its own! Here are 11 signs that could confirm that you're suffering from PRSD.


1. Your voice is completely gone.

2. By this point and time you've been diagnosed with either strep or a sinus infection.


3. You're still bummed your rush crush went a different way.


4. Wait who is this pledge class.... I know none of you.


5. You're considering disaffiliating with your sorority for a short time because you've been screaming it's name over and over for 2 weeks straight.


6. When the lights are dimmed in any room you wonder why everyone is still talking..?


"Ok our president is going to talk now."

7. Every time you put on your letters you wonder if you're supposed to put on your name badge too?


8. Seeing a former PNM on campus and wanting to say hi but realizing she probably doesn't know you as well as you know her


oh.... right you don't know me....

9. While standing in line you subconsciously start to shuffle and realize no one else is shuffling with you


10. Feeling like every time you meet someone new you have to ask them their major and what they want to do with their life

"OMG Same!"

11. Seeing a new member walking through the chapter house threshold and having to consciously remember its ok to hug them now.
