11 Signs You Are Obsessed With Nike Shoes

Every girl (or guy) has that one favorite pair of shoes, right? Maybe they’re those beat up old white Converse or those killer Michael Kors wedges, but it if you ask me about my favorite kicks, my answer might surprise you. No, it’s not Toms. Sperrys are up there, but they don’t quite make the cut, and I can’t even afford a pair of Jimmy Choos. My one true love are Nikes! Crazy, right? You might even say that have an obsession with Nikes. I mean, it’s not like I own 34 different pairs, or anything. My obsession with Nikes is so real that I might even wear white ones to my wedding. It might sound crazy, but I know I cannot be the only one with this (expensive) addiction. If you relate to any of these signs, you might be just as obsessed as I am.

1. You have the same shoe in multiple different colors and patterns

Who can resist having a pair of Nike Free’s, Nike Flex Trainers, and Nike Air’s in sky blue, lavender, and mint green?

2. Doodling in your notebook consists solely of Nike swooshes

And no matter how many times you try, you can never quite get it perfect.

3. You’ve been known to sport Nike clothing.

Because you cannot just have a pair of shoes. You need workout pants, t-shirts, and socks too.

4. You don’t give a damn about any other brand.

What even is Adidas, Under Armour or Sketchers? Irrelevant is what it is.

5. You aren’t ashamed that you shop at the Nike outlet stores.

A deal is a deal!

6. You’ve downloaded the Nike+ Training Club app.

There’s no better way to track your fitness than with your favorite brand’s app.

7. Your favorite outfit is Norts and an oversized T-shirt

FYI: Norts are also known as Nike running shorts. If you haven’t already tried this shirt/short combo, you need too. It’s life changing!

8. You say, “Just Do It,” on a daily basis

There’s no other slogan that you’d rather have as the catchy phrase of your life.

9. You are emotionally attached to each pair that you own.

Even though you are in love with your new Nike Lunar’s, saying goodbye to you old Free Run’s is just too hard.

10. You have customized your own pair of Nike’s online.

And then you realized that you are too broke to afford them.

11. Your Amazon cart is full of shoes looking for a good home.

A person can dream, right?

What’s not to love about Nikes? They’re comfortable, cute, and relatively affordable! Don’t deny your obsession. I mean, things could be worse. Nike is the only brand that you’ll ever need. From workout gear to outfits for lounging around, Nike has got you covered (literally)! I don’t know about you, but I think it’s time to get a new pair!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
