I have to take the time to thank my boyfriend for dealing with my indecisiveness and, more broadly, my anxiety. Thank you for always putting a smile on my face during frustrating times. It's important you know that I truly do appreciate your patience for the following reasons:

1. I am very indecisive.

Thank you for never rushing me through decisions about where to go eat or what to do on our next date. I like to take time to think.

2. Sometimes, I can take a while to get ready.

I appreciate you waiting for me after I change outfits about seven times before a night out.

3. I should also thank you for going shopping with me and pretending not to be completely bored.

My indecisiveness takes on a whole new level at the mall.

4. It may seem like my dog doesn’t like you because she barks constantly.

But, really she just doesn’t like strangers in general. Thank you for being patient with her, my puppy appreciates it and so do I.

5. Ice skating always seemed like a good idea until I realized I have absolutely no balance.

But I really did appreciate you helping me skate around the rink at a very slow pace.

6. I know I'm not the best driver, but I appreciate you being patient with me and helping me when possible.

You are the car expert after all.

7. I am shy and a bit anxious.

I want to get to know your friends and family, and will talk to them more. But, thank you for understanding I need time to get to know people before I break out of my shell.

8. Sometimes, I can get easily overwhelmed and tired after a busy week.

Then, I just feel like staying in and cuddling instead of being social. I appreciate you staying in with me.

9. It means so much to me that you are the shoulder I can cry on when I am stressed.

Thank you, again, for not getting frustrated with me and my anxiety.

10. I’m glad you understand that we each have busy schedules, and sometimes it can be difficult to find time to talk.

Long distance is hard, but I am so thankful we get to see each other as often as we do.

11. Thank you for giving me a chance and waiting for me.

I know I don't always wear my emotions on my sleeve, but I appreciate all that you do.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
