College is hard. This is no surprise, but here are some times when it's just really impossible to do this "college" things.

1. When you have 3 tests, 7 assignments, and a paper all due in the same week

As if the normal load of college wasn't enough, all of your professors meet together to discuss the best way to ruin your life in a mere 5 days.

2. When it's -45 degrees outside and your 8 AM is all the way in China.

I'm in Mississippi, but for some reason, I sometimes need snow boots to get to class.

3. When you miss your dog.

I pinky promise college students would do anything to have their pets with them. It's like missing children.

and on that note...

4. When you miss your parents.

Yes, college is about branching out and finding yourself, but there are just some times when all you want is for your parents to take care of you, buy your groceries, and cook you a good meal.

5. When all you want is to feast on food from your favorite hometown restaurant.

Yes, there are other Mexican restaurants, but El Patio will always have a special place in my heart.

6. When the evil demons, a.k.a. ALLERGIES, attack with full force.

I've never sneezed more in my entire life than the 17 million times I did in that 50-minute lecture with 300 people. I appreciate the kindness, classmates, but you can stop blessing me after number 10.

7. When you look at your planner and don't see a blank space anywhere.

When did I make those plans? What club is this? I don't even think I'm in that class. Who are these people?

8. When you sleep for 14 hours and you're still exhausted.

HOW DOES ONE GET ENOUGH SLEEP?

9. When all the under-eye concealer in the world can't cover up your dark circles.

It's fine. I'm fine.

10. When you're constantly reminded it only gets harder from here.

Basically, we're all doomed.
