If you're thinking about rushing this year and are nervous about the process in general, let me tell you that the active members of all the sororities are just as nervous as well. If you're nervous about finding the right house, we are nervous because we want you to join ours. Going through the first week of classes as a member of a Panhellenic Sorority isn't easy, but it is still exciting. Here are some of the typical thoughts we have while on campus around rushing time:
1. I need to plan out all my cute outfits with letters this week.
2. Why must the weather disrupt my hair this week of all weeks?
3. Why do these girls keep staring at me and smiling... Oh, nevermind!
4. How do I answer this question about rush properly...
5. Is it rude to correct someone for pronouncing our name wrong?
6. I can't get this chant out of my head!!
7. It is never shameful to use #gogreek too many times this week, is it? NAAHHH!
8. How many buttons on my backpack are too many buttons?
9. I want to tell you so many stories about why I love my sisters but don't want to scare you...
10. I can't wait to welcome our new members!
