When you struggle together, it's not as much of a struggle.

4. A bigger laundry basket.

You either procrastinated doing laundry for weeks, or you put it off because you knew the laundry room would be packed.

5. A planner.

If it's not written on your to-do list, it's a to-don't.

6. Mental breaks.

There are times when your brain will actually give up on you, and you will have to give it the entire season of Stranger Things in order for it to function.

7. House slippers.

I guarantee you will find a way to sport them with every outfit.

8. More than one baseball cap.

Because let's face it. Every day is a bad hair day.

9. Late night Cain's runs.

10. A support system.

Friends can prove to be the best thing about college. We all need their care and support to get through this crazy time in our lives, and we would be messes without them.

Overall, college is a different place from high school, and it demands different things from us. If we're all being honest though, it's so worth it. Whatever else you find you need in college, there is no doubt it will be for the better.
