10 Things They Should Tell You Before Your First Concert

Going to your first concert is probably one of the most exciting days of your life. But like everything else, not everything always goes as picture perfect as you had imagined. Here are some tips to help prepare your self for what could be your best-- or worst-- day ever.

1. TAKE THE NEXT DAY OFF OF WORK.

Seriously you're not getting home until 3 am

2. Tailgating is real.

Bring a lawn chair, don't forget the speaker, food, and drinks. Seriously don't be afraid to bring a grill or ez up, everybody does it. I mean EVERYBODY.

3. There are no bathrooms.

It's all porta potties. Good luck.

4. Lawn seats are literally terrible.

Don't let anyone tell you different. Pay the extra $50 for real seats, or try to move up once you get there.

5. Don't drink too much before the concert, you'll end up in line for the bathroom for half the concert.

6. Learn all the songs of the artist before you go.

It's way more fun if you can sing along.

7. Before you go look up who the opening acts are, that way you're not whining waiting for the main act and you can enjoy the whole concert.

8. Bring someone who is 21+ with you.

For obvious reasons.

9. Country Concerts are way more fun than any other concert.

10. Despite all that, you'll have the best time of your life.

I'm talking addiction, like you'll probably spend the next 3 hours after the concert looking up tickets to your next concert.

Bruce Springsteen's Top 7 Lyrics

Everything Bruce says in his classic rock songs.

bruce springsteen album cover born in the usa

Anyone who was born and raised in New Jersey (or anywhere really) knows of Bruce Springsteen, whether or not they like him is a whole other situation. I hope that his hundreds of classic rock songs and famous high energy performances, even in his sixties he can put on better concerts than people half his age, are at least recognizable to people of all ages. Love him or hate him (I identify with the former) you have to admit that some of his songs and interviews have inspirational quotes and lyrics.

New England Summers Are The BEST Summers

Why you should spend your next summer in New England.

3334
Marconi Beach

Three years ago, I chose to attend college in Philadelphia, approximately 360 miles away from my small town in New Hampshire. I have learned many valuable lessons away from home, and have thoroughly enjoyed my time spent in Pennsylvania. One thing that my experience has taught me, however, is that it is absolutely impossible to beat a New England summer.
