Nobody can say that a good night’s sleep doesn't have numerous health benefits. After all, getting at least seven to eight hours of Zzzs can do anything from helping maintain a healthy weight and heart to getting rid of the bags under your eyes. However, in order to get that restful sleep—whether in the evening or through a decent afternoon siesta—you need to have a bed. A really, really comfortable bed. In fact, you might like your bed so much that you just don’t want to get up! If that happens, have no fear. Here are a few reasons why it’s fun to stay in bed and catch a few extra winks of shuteye:

10. That extra 5 minutes before you anticipate the snooze alarm (again).

You’ve had a restful night, and it’s early in the morning….Wait, is that the alarm going off? Hit snooze and get a little bit more rest. Why? Because you’re worth it.

9. It’s fun to snuggle in your blankets.

Cozy blankets to cuddle in? Yes, please! Half the battle of sleeping is about staying warm, and how can you accomplish such a task without a plush duvet or comforter curled snugly around your body?

8. You probably need the extra sleep, right?

From classes, to sports practice, to play rehearsal, to choir, to saving the world, to…gosh, I’m exhausted just thinking about it all! Based on such a busy schedule, "Early to bed, early to rise" is most certainly your motto most days. But maybe, just maybe, today you can sleep in...

7. Nurse the hangover that you still have from the other night.

Yep, you definitely partied a liiiiittle too hard on Thursday night, in honor of celebrating for the weekend. Wait to get the bacon, egg, and cheese at noon. Sleep comes first.

6. You don’t want to look like this.

We’ve all had the “face of death” where we look like half-dead zombies, practically drooling out of our mouths. If you stayed in bed, you wouldn't have to face the world and look like this. And potentially scare innocent children in the process.

5. You don’t want to wake your puppy up.

Dog is man (and woman’s) best friend. What better way to show your love and appreciation for your furry friend than to share your sleeping space with them?

4. …Or your feline friend.

Audrey Hepburn did it. Now you can, too!

3. Did I mention how fun it is to snuggle up in your blankets?

Oh, the joys of one’s Snuggie!

2. If you stay in bed, you don’t have to make it.

You could make a bed tent instead and hide out for the day.

1. You can cuddle with that special someone.

There’s nothing more precious than spending time with the one you love, the one you hold nearest and dearest to your heart. When it comes to sleeping and staying in bed, you can have even more quality time curling up with your lovey-dovey best friend or hubby.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
