10 Reasons Asbury Is Basically 'Gossip Girl'

Being a student at a Christian university and being an upper east sider don't really go hand in hand. But when you're a gossip girl advocate like me you find any way to relate your daily life to Gossip Girl.

1. When you've been hanging out with this great guy to find out he's not interested in you but just in helping you with your spiritual walk. "Why did you lead me on for weeks only to tell me you didn't like me." -Charlie

2.When ring by spring has taken you as its latest victim but you know you still got it. "I'd say I'm great- I mean look at my hair, my body, my clothes? But I've become a Bedford wife and it's really just the worst thing." -Georgina

3.When you and your roommate might have crossed the line by putting up that Magic Mike poster in your dorm room but the rest of your room is still AA. "Welcome to our tastefulness and appropriate home." -Eleanor

4.When you get married while you're still in school and Asbury starts giving you mad financial aid and you've got this debt-free glow about you. "You look like you just got a trust fund." -Serena


5.When you go to the co-curricular fair just for the free stuff but end up being pitched too about how you should be in literally every club on campus. "If you'll excuse me there's a tart in my room that I'd rather attend to." -Blair

6. When it's tag week and you think you've met the love of your life. "We should send out change-of-address cards because I'm moving to cloud nine." -Blair

7. When you want to do big things in the media world but so does practically all of your school, so you start to wonder if you'll make it but then realize you totally got what it takes. "Carmela on Sopranos didn't get big break till she was 40!" -Dorota

8.When it's finals week and sleep becomes just a figment of your imagination. "Great leaders only need three hours of sleep!"-Blair

9.When you go to bible studies and they encourage you to really just let it all out. "Come on, you know you can trust me with anything, I mean, the amount of crazy crap people tell me and expect me to keep to myself?" -Eric

10. Last but not least when you think you just can't handle the stress of school anymore just try and be Blair Waldorf. "Here's my advice: Have a little faith, and if that doesn't work, have a lot of Ale-8's."-Blair
