The school year is almost over and this is the hardest part of the year. We’re so close to finishing but can barely get out of bed in the morning and make it there. The smell of summer is in the air and you can just feel your skin soaking up the sunshine, but you have to sit inside a boring building all day before you can go out and actually enjoy life. Lucky for you I have found ten quotes that will help you push to the end of the school year and encourage you to finish the year strong.

1. “Life is tough, my darling but so are you.”

You may be going through some tough things but you are tougher than them and will make it through.

2. “It always seems impossible until it’s done.” -Nelson Mandela

People never want to try for things because they seem too difficult but you never know until you actually try.

3. “She believed she could, so she did.”

This is a very popular quote because it's plain and simple. If you believe you can do something then you're already on the right track.

4. “Keep your head up, princess, otherwise your crown falls.”

Never forget you are worth so much more than you give yourself credit for. Don't sell yourself short.

5. “Believe you can and you’re halfway there.” -Theodore Roosevelt

Half the work is believing you can do something and the other half is actually doing it.

6. “Be gentle with yourself. You’re doing the best you can.”

I love this quote because these days everyone is so busy, but everyone is doing the best they can and should always remember to go easy on themselves.

7. “It does not matter how slow you go as long as you don’t stop.” - Confucius

The important thing to remember is to always keep moving froward no matter how slow. Just keep going.

8. “Perhaps this is the moment for which you have been created.” - Esther 4:14

People often forget this life is much bigger than them and you were created for something so much more than just a mediocre life.

9. “We either make ourselves miserable or we make ourselves strong. The amount of work is the same.” - Carlos Castaneda

This quote is one of my favorites because it reminds me that my attitude affects everything I do and how my day will go, and that I'm the only one that can control that.

10. “All our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them.” - Walt Disney

It's a very scary thing to go after the things you want in life, but you never know what could happen until you pursue your dreams.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
