10 Moments In 'Grey's Anatomy' History That Made Us Super Happy

With last week's article all about the painful moments in "Grey's Anatomy" history, it was determined by me that there are some really amazing moments in "Grey's" history. It's not all just tears and threatening ShondaLand to the high heavens despite the past season or two. So let's look back at some happy moments in "Grey's Anatomy" history and remind ourselves why we started watching the show in the first place. No need for those tissues now, just put them away.

1. When Derek and Meredith got married on a Post-It note.

In this moment right here, it was the happiest day for any fan of the show. The couple that we watched from day one finally got married. So what if it wasn't legal at the time? It was the most perfect wedding ever. Screw it, I'm going to need some tissues.

2. Callie and Arizona got married and Bailey officiated the wedding.

You can tell how happy they were in this moment and while it's so bittersweet to think about now, let's just remember these smiles.

3. When Bailey finally became the Chief of Surgery.

All I have to say is about damn time. You know how long this woman wanted this job? Far too long and finally in Season 12, she gets it. About damn time. Look at that smile. Bailey is the Chief of Surgery that we finally deserve.

4. Owen and Cristina's Wedding.

The wedding that brought us all back together after the tragic shooting. Even though it didn't end well, thanks Shonda for the lovely memory.

5. Alex and Izzie's Wedding.

Meredith gave away her wedding so Izzie could have her dream wedding and boy was it just perfect. However, let's not think about future events regarding Alex and Izzie and ruin this perfect memory. Seriously, dream wedding.

6. Meredith building the dream house out of candles for Derek.

Out of all the events in "Grey's Anatomy" history, I have to say that this one is my absolute favorite one to watch over and over and over again. Meredith doesn't do romance but when she does, the woman is pretty damn romantic. Absolutely perfect.

7. Derek proposing in the elevator.

Another swooning moment because any fan of the show knows that elevator has some long history with Meredith and Derek. He proposed with brain scans of their patients, now that is so romantic in my eyes. I want a McDreamy.

8. Bailey and Ben finally got married.

Finally. This took way too damn long to happen and Bailey finally got her happiness. About damn time.

9. When Meredith announced she was pregnant.

What the world has wanted since 2005: a McDreamy baby. Finally. Plus they finally got Zola and they are having a baby! Ahhh, my allergies are acting up again.

10. When Meredith and Cristina dance it out for the first time ever.

That first dance made us realize that Cristina and Meredith are a friendship for the ages. Sobs. Forever dancing it out with tequila.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
