Fun Board Games To Play

It's always fun to play board games with your friends. Here are some games to play when you are having a game night.

1. Cranium: Cranium is a game that involves a variety of skills, all put together to draw, sculpt, or guess different things. This game is great to play with a group of friends.


2. Life: The objective of this game is to finish without losing the money you gained throughout the game by the career you picked. Then, retire in a nice nursing home without being broke.

3. Sorry: This is, personally, one of my favorite board games to play. The objective of the game is to get around the whole board and into your home space before anyone else. It makes it tricky because anybody can draw a sorry card and switch spots with you and take you further from your home spot and closer to their home spot.

4. Twister: The objective of Twister is to be the last one standing during the game. A person gets eliminated when they fall or when their elbow or knee touches the mat.


5. Heads Up: This game is really fun to play with anybody, really. I love playing it with my siblings. This game was made by Ellen Degeneres and it's amazing. There are many different categories and you choose which category you prefer. Then, you have to guess what the other people are trying to describe, but they are not allowed to just tell you the exact word.


6. Clue: This game can become very fun. It involves you and your friends being detectives and trying to figure out who the killer is.

7. Apples to Apple: This game is great to play with group of friends. The objective of the game is to gain all the green apple cards and get rid of all your red apple cards. The game becomes very fun because some of the answers chosen for the apple cards are hilarious.

8. Cards Against Humanity: This game is similar to Apples to Apples game, but has just a little bit of a twist.


9. Catch Phrase: I have never personally played Catch Phrase, but I have heard that it is a very fun game. The purpose of the game is to try to guess the phrase that is being displayed.


10. Headbands: Headbands is game that is quite funny. It's hard to try to guess what is stuck to your head.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
