Do you have a dog? Well, I think you can relate to these little points. There is no limit on how much we love our dogs. They are literally our child or our furry sibling, and there is no way I can describe the bond between an owner and their dog. It is an indescribable love, but what makes a dog owner? Is it the amount of time we spend talking about our dogs that classifies us as a dog over? Sometimes it is hard to not talk about our dog because we want the world to know about them. We are dog owners and here are some tell tale signs that show that you are a dog owner.
1. When 50 percent of your pictures on your phone are of your dog. Okay, fine, more like 90 percent.
There is no limit on how many pictures we can take of them. I'm positive 100 of the 300 pictures I have on my phone are of my dog.
2. When your phone's wallpaper is a picture of your dog.
I can't resist pressing the home button during class to see a picture of my dog. It makes me feel excited to go home because I'll go see her.
3. When you have bumper stickers on your car that say, "Who Rescued Who," or, "I Love My Beagle."
I see cars with "My dog supports the Navy" or "My Dog Rescued Me". My car has one that says "Dog Mom".
4. When your go-to item before you leave your house is your lint roller.
Black clothes are never ever safe from a dog. You'll be petting them one minute and finding a mass of hair clinging to your black leggings.
5. When your favorite day is Take-Your-Dog-to-Work Day.
Whether it's to the office or the barn you work at, your dog is always there sniffing everything in sight.
6. When your dog is the most fashionable pooch on the block.
Admit it, you buy your dog seasonal collars, raincoats and cute winter coats.
7. When your friend gives you a mug that says, "Be the person your dog thinks you are."
Sometimes this mug makes me think about the person I've become since I have my dog with me. I often feel like a completely better person.
8. When you talk to your dog as though they could talk back.
It's totally normal to tell your dog how your day way, if your crush talked to you, or if something happened today. Best thing is that they never judge you.
9. Whatever you do outside of the house, your dog is usually right there with you.
Hiking, biking, boating or swimming? Yup, your dog is right beside you on those adventures.
10. When you call your dog your baby or furry child.
Whether it's pumpkin, babe, baby, or munchkin, it's normal to call your dog different cute names like those, right? Yeah, it's normal.
