It's the (actual) most wonderful time of the year.

What Your Favorite Girl Scout Cookie Says About You

It’s that time of year again; your friendly neighborhood Girl Scouts are out to take all of your money. I’m only kidding, but it is hard to refuse their innocent smiles and the irresistible taste of those famous cookies. With such a selection it can be hard to choose, but what does your favorite kind of Girl Scout Cookies say about you?

Trios:

This is the new flavor of the year, so if this is already your favorite kind, you are adventurous and a tad trendy. You're venturing away from your old cookie love and trying this gluten-free, chocolate chip peanut butter oatmeal treats. Whether you’re on a health kick or you’re (sadly) actually allergic to gluten, this is the cookie for you!

Thin mints:

You might be a people pleaser if your favorite Girl Scout Cookie is the Thin Mint. A classic crowd favorite for years, this chocolaty-minty cookie has even made its way out of the industry into other favorite snack foods, so its lovable taste is here to stay the year around! While many people shy away from the Thin Mint to branch out with other cookies, you have stayed loyal and know what you like; way to go.

Caramel Delites:

This cookie is a dentist’s dream. Pleasing those with the ultimate sweet tooth, you are probably one to eat your dessert before the rest of your meal if you prefer this caramel, chocolate, and coconut combined goodness. For you, other Girl Scout Cookies might take the backseat to this variety because of the three (that’s right, three) sleeves this box has to offer.

Peanut Butter Patties:

You are probably more on the creative side, and enjoy great combinations in life in other ways than just cookie form. You still haven’t decided if you enjoy cookies that have more chocolate or peanut butter, so you chose the best of both worlds. This cookie is made with fresh peanuts from your region (if you live where they are sold) and is also vegan. With both of those benefits, you’re basically making a health conscious decision by choosing this cookie.

Peanut Butter Sandwiches:

One cookie is simply not enough for you. Tackling this stack is no easy feat, and if this cookie is your favorite, you know what you want in life and take it by the horns. You are proud of being who you are and you are not going to apologize for it.

Shortbread:

There’s a chance that you’re the shy one out of your group of friends, some people might even go as far as to call you bland. But you know better than that. You take your dessert very seriously and you are already very aware that these cookies are not only fabulous alone, but are greatly paired with ice cream, a tall glass of milk, or could even be a great finishing touch on the top of a pie. The possibilities are endless, and if this is your favorite type of Girl Scout Cookie, you are quite the inventive one.

Lemonades:

Reminiscent of a sweet summer dessert, this cookie and its lover are ready for the change of seasons. You probably love warm weather and prefer to celebrate outdoors if you like this sweet cookie with a little lemon zest to keep things interesting.

Author’s Note: This is my personal favorite Girl Scout Cookie, so additionally, if this is your favorite, congratulations on having exquisite taste.

Thanks-a-Lot:

You are worldly and like to travel, and your favorite cookie boasts this. With each package containing cookies that say “Thank You” in multiple languages, this shortbread and chocolate snack is always your go-to. Their slender packaging makes them easy to grab on the go too, which is great for you, because you hardly stop enjoying life to its fullest to sit still while indulging in your cookies.

Cranberry Citrus Crisps:

There’s a good chance you know that buying these cookies is inevitably not your healthiest decision today, or this week. This refreshing fruity cookie will help you enjoy your guilty pleasure a little more — have your cake and eat it too! You might also not like sweets as much as the next guy, but your love and support for the Girl Scouts is inspiring.

You will find them on your doorstep, on your way into the grocery store, and, in my case, maybe even on your way to class or the library. This season, no matter where they are, get your hands on some great Girl Scout Cookies and enjoy while you can, because they won’t be here for long!

Now that Halloween is over, it's time to focus on the Holiday Season. Don't get me wrong, I think Thanksgiving is great and can't wait for it, but nothing gives me greater joy than watching Freeform's 25 Days of Christmas, lighting peppermint scented candles, decking the halls, and baking gingerbread cookies. So while we approach the greatest time of the year, let's watch the 15 best Christmas movies of all time.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

Being pre-med is quite a journey. It’s not easy juggling school work, extracurricular activities, volunteering, shadowing, research, and MCAT prep all at the same time. High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
