Here's How You Know You Were Part Of The Mary-Kate and Ashley Generation

If you were anything like me you were basically obsessed with Mary-Kate and Ashley, from Full House to Our First Video to their new fashion line "Elizabeth and James" you knew everything about them and watched their every move. Although they really weren't the best singers or actresses, they portrayed life as an average kid, and that's what made so many girls fall in love with them, and what helped them become them the youngest movie producers in Hollywood by age six. The Olsen Twins had such a contagious personality; I can't even imagine my childhood without their movies. So if this list reins true to you, I'm happy to tell you that you were a part of the Mary-Kate and Ashley Generation.

When you see a trench coat it doesn’t make you fearful; you think of solving a mystery!

Someone needs help solving a case? Piece of cake; you can have any case solved by dinner time.

When people talk about Parent Trap, and you’re like, “Don’t you mean It Takes Two?”

Your first soap operas consisted of Two of a Kind and So Little Time.

You can still recite every word of “Once upon a midnight dreary, as I pondered weak and weary…” I’ll let you finish the rest.

Of course if you were a super fan you owned a Michelle Doll that said all of Michelle’s catch phrases!

Of course, we all wanted Mary Kate and Ashley to show up to our house like they did in their Barbie doll commercials. Unfortunately, some of us are still waiting for this one to happen...

New York Minute broke your heart not only because it was the worst film they made, but as it was the last film to ever debut both girls.

When your brother got on your last nerve you didn’t hesitate to set up a stand saying, “Brother For Sale”.

You either were in the Mary-Kate and Ashley fan club, or you were deeply saddened to find out that it had been canceled.

Of course, you have their books, including the Full House Michelle ones as well.

Can you even call yourself a fan if you didn’t own at least one item from their fashion/beauty line?

Did you own a Mary-Kate and Ashley Barbie doll? Duh. Is that even a serious question?

You always tried to repeat their cool hairstyles, but for some reason it never turned out the same on you…

Taking a picture with their star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame was definitely a highlight of your life.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
