Heading back to college or to college for the first time is an exciting and emotional time in one's life. Returning back after a summer back home can be very interesting. At college, you were off by yourself for most of the year, having the time of your life—oh and of course, studying! However, when you return home things are different because you realize you've grown so much in the past year. You most likely spent your summer catching up on "Chrisley Knows Best," in between tanning and napping. Going back to school can be one of those bittersweet experiences! If you are going to college for the first time, it can be intimidating at first but once you get started, you realize it is amazing. You have so much to experience and are so happy to be out on your own!

The first week of classes can be a struggle though—you want to go hang out with your friends that you missed all summer, and you want to meet and make new friends, but at the same time you promised yourself you wouldn't procrastinate this year. You want to be fashion forward as well as studious, although balancing everything can be challenging. You are still going to try to do it all and make the most of your college experience. So, describing all the feels of your first week of college classes or your first week back to classes, will be none other than the fabulous Chrisley family, stars of the USA Network show "Chrisley Knows Best!"

Your first week will make you feel fresh and fabulous! You'll make silent promises to yourself that you will make the most of this semester by always looking cute for class and always doing your homework—on time!

After your first class, you'll almost have a meltdown when the professor says he takes points off for being on your phone and even though Its "so not fair," you'll put your phone away anyway!

Going back to your on-campus job, can be not as exciting as you thought, but don't worry, you'll get through it!

You'll still be going strong by Tuesday, taking a selfie before class to show all your Insta followers how successful your first week is going!

By Wednesday, this whole college thing will start to hit you—and you'll have your first mental breakdown of the semester: 1 down, 102946452729 to go...

Then, you'll get your first assignment and try to play it cool, as your blood pressure skyrockets because you don't know what is going on and it's actually only the second day of class.

Through the first week struggle, you'll make it to Thursday—and thank God, right?! You are so proud of how well you've done this week, you decide to go out with your friends to celebrate!

Then you realize your friends are on the struggle bus already, too. Good Lord.

Then to top it off, your parents will see your Facebook post and call just to give you some "advice." Just what you want, of course!

You'll still go out and have a great time with all your friends! Cheers to straight As, right?

By the time your alarm will go off Friday morning, you most likely start questioning college and if you really have to go to class this morning.

You'll make yourself proud by making it to class a whole two minutes early looking fabulous!

Plus, you have already mastered pulling your hair up and still looking just as fabulous as if you were going out!

You're feeling great until the professor calls on you and...

Good thing you have someone to help you out...kind of.

(Is anyone still confused? Or is it just me..?)

At least you know your parents will always believe in you!

However, at the end of the week, you'll still have made it through your first week of college classes!

And that is reason to celebrate!

And while you're at it..

Then the weekend will hit you and you'll realize you still have homework—and well, you're just not okay with this whole homework concept.

At least you have some good friends that'll attempt a pep talk!

You'll eventually realize that school is important for your future, and you'll get your homework done flawlessly!

Although, really, the main motivation for getting your work done will be your parents' voices in the back of your mind telling you that you really don't have a choice.

While in the moment, even the little things seem like the end of the world.

Give yourself some credit, you work hard, and will make it through!

Only like 14 more weeks to go, give or take...

College can be an intense time in your life—you have to remember to take it one day at a time and everything will work itself out! Try not to procrastinate, even though it does happen sometimes. Always put yourself as a priority and you won't lose yourself along the way. Study hard, make good friends, get involved, always believe in yourself, take risks when you can, get out of your comfort zone, and make memories to last a lifetime. Take a lesson or two from the Chrisley's: value your family and loved ones, be sassy when you have to (so, 90 percent of the time), be confident in yourself, and always stay classy!

Don't worry—even if you and college mix like Savannah and driving,

Or Todd trying to be a cowboy,

Have a little faith and you'll make it through!

Remember you can always call mom for a sweet tooth fix every now and then!

Moral of the story: Even if you forget pre-calc one day, you better always remember the wise, life lessons of Todd Chrisley:

Look out for "Chrisley Knows Best" season four coming in November on USA Network.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
