Well, this time he's serious. Donald Trump will be running for president of the United States in 2016. The GOP race is already a complete disaster. So far, no one has separated themselves from the pack, making for a divided party with no front-runner.
That will likely change with time, but for now, why not throw this clown into the mix? He's filed for bankruptcy four times already. However, bankruptcy can be a great way to restructure debt and free up capital for more spending. Something America is very good at! Who knows, maybe he's perfect for the job. His recent comments on immigration have garnered a lot of attention — mostly bad — from Democrats and Republicans alike. This isn't the first time his commentary has been off-base and completely detached.
"The Apprentice" star and business mogul wants your votes for 2016. If these examples are any indication of how he'll tweet from the Oval Office, then we're in for an entertaining four years. Let's take a look at his finest moments on Twitter.
"Yes! Mother nature strikes again! Time to throw this cash," said Barack. Actually using FEMA after a natural disaster? How dare he? This gem of a tweet was posted shortly after Hurricane Sandy. The destructive storm caused an estimated $68 billion in damages from wind and flooding, but Trump probably didn't notice from his high-rise office above it all. You're right Trump, let's just wait it out instead of spending money to fix it.
The Chinese will soon own us. Better practice your Mandarin. But seriously, what does this even mean? Are we being auctioned off?
A timeless argument against climate change, "How can global warming exist if I'm cold?" Let's just ignore the 99 percent of scientists who feel otherwise. This one has to be a joke, right? I really hope this is a joke.
This isn't the only time Trump tweeted about the Twilight costars. When he isn't dishing out political banter, Trump likes to help the youth with their relationship problems. Especially publicity driven relationships like this one. Good looking out, Donald.
Maybe Jon Stewart should do what Trump did and use the popularity of his TV show to justify a presidential campaign. In all honesty, Stewart would probably make a better president than Trump ever could. Neither have any political experience whatsoever, but at least Stewart has a realistic grasp on the political climate in America. His TV show was political commentary. Trump's show can only be remembered as him saying, "You're fired!" to people he didn't employ.
This is why our country is in trouble. If Trump was in office there would be absolutely no horseplay. All business.
"You're fired!"
