"V for Vendetta" is a dystopian film based on the Alan Moore and David Lloyd produced "V for Vendetta" comic. The 2006 film was directed by James McTeigue and the screenplay was written by the Wachowski Brothers. The film is set in the late 2020s where a neo-fascist government has taken over the United Kingdom. The main characters are V, an anarchist, and Evey, a woman who is rescued by V on the night of his revolution.
