Tapestries are a fun way to decorate your dorm. They come in many designs and add color to the room. While some are expensive you get usually find some cheap ones on amazon.

2. Decals

Decals are a great way to take away from the plain walls that are in your dorm. They apply easily and are extremely cheap. You can get decal images or fun quotes. Personally i enjoy the decal quotes. I find them to be very motivational and they have a very classy look to them. Decals are a good way to decorate walls while still keeping it simple for those of you who don't like to over do it.

3.Pictures

Decorating your wall with pictures is a great way to keep a little piece of home close to you. Gather pictures of family and friends and go to your local CVS and print them out. Having these pictures on your wall to look at will make you smile and help at times when you may be missing home. You can arrange these pictures in cool ways, it doesn't have to be boring !

4. Clothespin pictures

Attach your pictures to clothespins placed on a string and string it along your wall. You can add lights to this as well if you want to make it a bit more fancy. This is a very different approach as opposed to the basic idea of sticking the pictures on your wall. This is a good way to spice things up !

5.Random Little Items

Have you ever walked in a store and found random little items that you fell in love with but didn't know what you would possibly ever do with them? Well this is the perfect time to utilize them. You can gather cute little objects like these and use them too add decoration to your room. Whether its a sign or a little fixture you can make use of it ! Add these items to your window sill, on top of a drawer possibly or even your desk.These items help create scenery and bring out your taste.

6.Christmas Tree Lights

Lights are a way to brighten up your room and add some color. You can purchase Christmas tree lights in various colors. They can be strung over your bed, along your walls, over a mirror, or wherever else you desire them.

7.Letter Initial

If your bored and looking for a craft to do take a trip to your local craft store ! You can purchase a wooden letter of your initial for cheap along with some paint. Decorate the letter to go with the theme of your dorm and perhaps buy some other items to decorate it as well, like gems or flowers to glue on. These letters can be hung up on your door, your wall, or wherever you choose.

8.Label Your Wires

Ever find yourself having so many items plugged in that your wires get all jumbled around and you don't know whats what? Well here is a cheap and easy way to quickly fix this problem few bread tags and label them with the device whose plug it belongs to. Place these on the wires so they are easily visible. Now you wont confuse your wires and no money was spent either!

9.Fit more clothes in your closet

Do you have to many clothes to fit in your closet? This mostly applies to you girls! I know i personally find myself having way to many clothes and struggling to fit them in my closet. I normally end up shoving the rest in a drawer and then they get all wrinkled ! Well after reading about this method I was saved ! Collect the tabs of soda cans and attach them to your hangers. Doing so you can hold two hangers together making more room to fit your clothes.

10.Keep your snacks organized!

Where in your room do you store your snacks? Is it in your drawer? In a box under your bed? In your closet maybe on a shelf? Wherever it is that you store them do you find yourself trying to look for a particular snack and making a mess as you search through them all? This over the door shoe holder is a great method to store your snacks. They are easy to access and you can see everything clearly without having to search for it.
