The holiday season is fast approaching and you know what that means: the annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. The show was recorded on Monday, November 9th, and I, being a PINK fan, kept up with everything going on with the show. From fangirling when Gigi and Kendall announced that they were walking the famous runway for the first time and together, to watching all of the VSPINK and Gigi Hadid’s Snapchats, to looking at all of the gorgeous pictures on Gigi’s, Kendall’s, and the official Victoria Secret Instagram, I was able to get a glimpse at, in my opinion, the greatest night of the year. Here are some reasons why you should definitely tune into CBS on December 8th at 10 P.M. (EST) to watch the greatest fashion show on earth.

Home for the 20th Anniversary

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the show and they decided to host it in New York. Last year, the show was across the pond in London, but this year home is where the magic happened.

The Themes

The show had everything from “exotic butterflies,” to “ice angels,” to “PINK USA” and “Fireworks." Each theme was displayed with beautiful attire, from the silver one piece and helmet simulating an astronaut’s cosmic wear, to the Wild West motif represented by a turquoise lace brief accented with a white cowboy hat.

Behati Prinsloo

The beautiful Angler Prinsloo, opened up the show for the second time in a row and she looked stunning in this beautiful “free love” themed attire. It definitely shows off her personality.

The Fantasy Bra

Lily Aldridge rocked the brand's $2-million Fireworks Fantasy Bra that boasted 6,500 gems (1,364 carats) and was fashioned to look like a bursting fireworks display. It is also uniquely built and molded to fit one model, who this year was Aldridge.

Maria Borges’s History Changing Fashion Statement

Maria, who has walked the VS Fashion Show many times before, made history this year. The stunning model appeared on the runway with her natural hair, no wigs or extensions, by choice. She said to Essence magazine, "I told my agent I wanted to walk in the Victoria's Secret show with my natural hair. I was nervous, but I had to do it. When they said 'yes', I didn't expect it, but I was so happy."

Gigi Hadid

The beautiful 20-year-old Malibu native showed her followers on Instagram an emotional black and white photo her reaction when she found out she was going to be in the show this year. VS's Instagram also posted a video of Hadid’s reaction. The video shows how seconds after she strutted her stuff in front of chief marketing officer of Victoria's Secret, Ed Razek, casually asked her, "What are you doing November 9th and 10th?". "I don't know!" Hadid managed to say before Razek responded with, "Why don't you come join us? "Gigi had auditioned for the show a few times before, but she never got a callback. This year all of her dreams finally came true. Hadid looked stunning and radiant on the runway, we could definitely tell she was extremely excited to be fulfilling her big dream.

Kendall Jenner

Kendall received news that she’d be walking the runway on her 20th birthday tweeting out it was the "best birthday present EVER!" to her 13.5 million followers. Kendall has had a successful year by starring in campaigns for Calvin Klein, Balmain, and Balmain for H&M. Kendall only invited her parents, Kris and Caitlyn Jenner to the show because having all of her famous family members there would add to the already heavy pressure she was under for the show. Regardless, Kendall looked beautiful and rocked the runway.

The Musical Guests

If you love pop music, then definitely tune in to listen to Ellie Goulding, Selena Gomez, and The Weeknd sing their hits while the Angels strut their stuff down the runway.

The New Angels

This year Angels Elsa Hosk, Jac Jagaciak, Jasmine Tookes, Kate Grigorieva, Lais Ribeiro, Martha Hunt, Romee Strijd, Sara Sampaio, Stella Maxwell, Taylor Hill and Pink model Rachel Hilbert walked the runway for the first time with their new titles.

The Bodies

Talk about #gymspiration. These women have been working out all year round and their abs, legs, and butts show it. If their dedication and amazing results don’t motivate you to go to the gym, then maybe nothing will.

Are you sure you want to miss out on one of the best events on earth? I don’t think so. After looking at all of those pictures of the beautiful Angels, us girls may be rushing to the gym and maxing out our credit cards at the nearest Victoria’s Secret, and guys, you might want to pay attention and see what you can buy your special girl these holidays.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
