I may not know who you are yet, but God sure does and I think he'd want me to give you a bit of insight into how I feel.

1) I believe God made us for each other. I don't know what you believe in, but I believe in God and I believe He is giving us challenges and trials now that are preparing us for each other. Whoever and wherever you are, I know you are being made into the man I will one day marry. I cannot wait to see what our future will bring and what our story will be, but for now I will trust in the Lord's plan.

2) I am a mess. My mind is a mess, my room is a mess, and most likely my hair is a mess. While this may seem like a bad thing, it's probably great for you. I won't yell at you when you get toothpaste all over the bathroom sink or when you forget to take out the trash or even when you leave your dirty clothes on the floor. I will not yell at you, because I have most likely done these things before too. So, I may be a mess, but that works out in your favor.

3) I come with an interesting family. I love my family, but just like most people's they can get a little crazy at times. Family functions are often loud and filled with a lot of commotion. There's rarely a quiet moment when we are gathered. While they can get a little crazy, I love them and so I hope you're willing to put up with them as well, after all they did make me, me.

4) I will spoil our kid(s). But I will discipline them as well. Our kids will not run around Walmart throwing things in the cart, but they will never go without as well. I hope you aren't afraid of putting them in time out or taking away toys, because we will not have those kids that run between tables at restaurants. I also hope you're okay with big Christmases and birthday parties, because they will be done big. My kids will feel the love and support that I did from my parents.

5) I want holidays to be big. I love Holidays, especially Halloween and Christmas. We will probably be featured on some TV show about having insane decorations in our yard. I'll plan all of the get-togethers. Santa will be very real in our house and I plan on keeping the magic alive. Our kids will have the best Halloween costumes ever. I want our kids to have beautiful memories of their childhood.

6) I will love you with everything I have. I may seem a little crazy and I may go overboard with holidays, but I can promise you I will love you like no one else can. I will love through big gestures and I will love you through small gestures. I will make sure we never go to bed angry at each other. You will be reminded of my love each and every day and we will show our kids what a marriage should be. I will be there for you in the good and most definitely in the bad and I will never leave your side. My heart is big and I will give you every piece of it.

So whoever you are and wherever you are, just know that I pray to God to keep you safe and that while I can wait for marriage, I can't wait to meet the man God picked out for me.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
