A couple of months ago, I wrote an article about Gilmore Girls and the news that it would come back to Netflix for a final season. Everyone (except Melissa McCarthy) has hopped on board the Gilmore Girls train and it promises to be an amazing reunion.

Just a couple of days ago, one of our favorite characters Luke share a great picture with Gilmore Girls creator, Amy Sherman-Palladino. Looks like Luke’s diner is open for business one last time and fans couldn’t be happier!

Even though everyone is happy that the show is underway, fans are disappointed that Sookie (Melissa McCarthy) will not be able to make an appearance. When asked about the situation, McCarthy responded by saying "I'm not in. But I'm pretty psyched to see it...I think they thought I was too busy, so, they literally didn't talk to me about it" by the time that she was asked to join, McCarthy WAS actually busy and couldn't commit to the show. She does go on to say that she doesn't feel insulted about the mix-up. "No, I was surprised by it. ...But I'm glad they do it, because I get more questions about Gilmore. In every country, it's like, everybody asks about that show. Like, the fan base of that show is really remarkable." Also adding that she isn't upset about the ordeal. We will miss her because she was a great character but we can't ll have what we want, right?

Another actor missing from the revival is Edward Hermann who sadly passed away December 2014.

“You couldn’t just say, ‘Oh, Richard died peacefully in his sleep, and now we’re going to go to the cherry-picking festival,’” Shermann-Palladino said. “Something they loved is gone, which means things you love will not be around forever. And you can’t take them for granted.”

Liza Weil also confirmed that Paris will come back. The actress added that Paris will be in two episodes of the upcoming revival! “It’s very emotional to read them,” She said of Sherman-Palladino’s new scripts. “It’s like a really magical perfect time machine. I’m very happy to be a part of it.”

While there will be plenty of familiar faces, the Gilmore Girls revival will also introduce a lot of new characters. According to E!, the show is adding a Peruvian couple named Berta and Alejandro, a sad sack of a man named Nat Compton, a brother and sister named Tim and Gabriela, a 13-year-old named Dewey, 9-year-old Korean-American twins Stevie and Kwan, and a Portuguese nanny named Clementina.

There’s also Jim, an older man who’s the editor of a high-end men’s magazine; a character named Dwayne; the handsome and proactive Damon; Paul, a character described as both “a Michael Cera type” and “a good boyfriend;” and finally, “a whole bunch of hippies at a commune.”

The

Gilmore Girls revival is currently filming four 90-minute

episodes on the Warner Bros. lot in L.A. Other stars who have signed up to return include Lauren Graham (Lorelai Gilmore), Alexis Bledel (Rory Gilmore), Kelly Bishop (Emily Gilmore), Jared Padalecki (Dean Forester), Milo Ventimiglia (Jess Mariano), Keiko Agena (Lane Kim),Sean Gunn (Kirk Gleason), and Matt Czuchry (Logan Huntzberger).

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
