Senior prom. Many people think about this from the time that they enter high school, watching the seniors getting dressed up and going to theirs. However, there are always those people who think that prom is not their "thing." Even though it may not be, it is still an experience that is well worth it.

Picking out a dress could be stressful, but it is well worth it in the end. Finding the perfect dress is definitely not easy. It takes time, and possibly a few tears shed, but when you find it, you will see just how worth it it is. You will feel so good in it and never want to take it off. If for no other reason, you will be excited for prom because of the dress. It makes everything so much better.

If the dress does not get you excited enough, think about the food. The perk to any formal event, like a Sweet 16, wedding, prom, etc. is the good food. Every event has the classic penne vodka, caesar salad, and some sort of chicken. Proms usually have more of a variety, but still including the classics, so they can please everyone.

Getting your hair and makeup done is also a fun part of prom. It is nice to get dressed up and look nicer than on a daily basis. Also, it's even more fun if you are good at doing your hair and makeup

Honestly, your Instagram during prom time will be A+. Prom pictures are half of the fun of prom. The more pictures, the better. They are especially fun to look at months after when you are thinking about prom.

Prom is one of the final times that everyone in your class will all be together so enjoy it because after the summer, it is not likely to happen again. Also, it is fun to see your teachers not in the school environment. You can bond with them while not being in a classroom setting.

All in all, it is just a fun experience to have with your friends. Even if it is not your thing, it is still worth a shot and will be fun if you make it fun! You do not want to live with the regret of not going.
