As Easter and spring draw closer, many of us have a fresh outlook on life. Just as our lives are renewed, the interior of our homes should be, too. Holiday and seasonal decorations are the perfect way to not only bring the warmth, sunshine and nature inside, but also to rejuvenate our creative senses after a long winter. With a new season comes new decorating ideas. To decorate for both Easter and the spring season, here are six ideas to liven up your living space.

1. Flower Arrangements

Flowers are one of the easiest and most colorful ways to add beauty to any room. Fresh flowers bring nature directly inside. In fact, when plants are brought indoors, they can help relax our minds. However, if the scent of flowers is a bother, synthetic flowers will still do the trick. Not to mention that they last longer…

2. Wreath

A wreath of flowers, ribbons or Easter eggs is a great welcoming sign for a front door or even an interior door. Wreaths are simple to hang and require no maintenance. If one is creative and crafty, making a handmade wreath may be the perfect activity for friends and family. Most stores that carry craft supplies will have a wide selection of wreath-making materials and decorations. What better way to renew the creative senses than to create a unique, handcrafted home decoration?

3. Easter Eggs

One of the most time-honored traditions of Easter is decorating eggs. This activity is enjoyable for all ages. (Unless you have to clean up, that is.) The possibilities for decorating are endless. Watercolor, polka dots, stripes, melted crayons, stencils, glitter and shaving cream are just a few ways to design the eggs. Let the inspiration run free with this one.

4. Bunnies (and any other cute creature)

Easter bunnies and Easter eggs go hand-in-hand when it comes to decorating. Wherever there is an Easter bunny, there are sure to be Easter eggs. For that matter, any other cute creature will bring joy and sweetness to the room. Baby animals also symbolize the new life that springtime brings. Besides, who doesn’t love animals? Or at least stuffed animals?

5. Wall Decals

Inspirational or beautiful wall decals are an inexpensive way to change the dynamic of a room instantly. Whenever the season or holiday changes, the stickers can be removed without damage to the wall or paint. There are so many options and possibilities to choose from that one cannot go wrong!

6. Canvases

Whether hand painted or manufactured, canvases add color and brilliance to the atmosphere. With the right quote, canvases can be thought-provoking and enlightening. No matter the size, canvases are a sure way to celebrate not only Easter but every day of the spring season.

With these decorating ideas, your home should be ready for Easter and spring in no time. Refreshing and delightful accents will bring new energy to the beginning of the season.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
