I think I speak for most college students when I say Instagram is a pretty large part of my life, but I think it's safe to say food takes the cake as the most important part of my day. It's safe to say these two things put together is possibly the greatest thing to ever happen. Here are some of the best Instagram accounts to follow if you're a real foodie!

1. FOODLOVERHEAVEN1

Probably one of the most hunger-inducing accounts on this entire app. God knows I need those pancakes right now.


2. NYCTREATS

Just one of the many NYC based Instagram accounts that will make you want to book a ticket right now.


3. FOODINTHEAIR

If Food In The Air doesn't make you want to take artsy pictures of your food whilst adventuring the world, there is definitely something wrong.


4. 2BETCHES1PLATE

2Betches1plate is the best account if you're looking to travel to NYC with your bestie and just try everything that you can. I highly recommend only following this page if you're from New York and can actually go to these amazing-looking places.


5. HUNGRYBETCHES

This account is directed at all the betches that are too stubborn to eat delicious food. You know who you are, and your salad does not compare to these tasty meals.


6. FRESHMEN15

Freshmen15 is the ultimate guilty pleasure account. Need to gain some weight your freshman year just because you love food? Check this account out for sure.


7. NEW_FORK_CITY

One of the only Instagram accounts that will make your mouth water once you know you're missing out on New York pizza.

This Instagram is basically #Goals. Imagine eating all around NYC and just Instagramming to your 120,000 followers.

If this college student Instagram doesn't make you hate your cafeteria food, I don't know what will.

These twins are taking Instagram by storm with their incredible looking treats that are bound to make you hungry for dessert!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
