1. Obsession With Instagram Likes.
It is a damn shame when you post a
REALLY good picture and it gets a fraction of the likes that you think it
deserves. It is also the new best day of your life when you reach a new most
liked picture. I am PRETTY SURE nobody has ever forced their best
friends/boyfriend/Mom to like their picture to reach a personal goal before.
Because I have definitely never, NEVER, done that ever. Never.
2. Girls Want To Be Skinny, But Also Eat Everything They See.
This is a behavior that has deep
roots in all directions. I could probably write a book on this one. Partially due
to accounts like BigTen10s, we see pictures of skinny girls and we want to stop
eating for a little bit. And then we look at them a little bit longer and
decide that they probably don’t know how good cheeseburgers are. Equal credit
due to the constant battle between being content with your body and remembering
what you looked like in high school. So many things about “High School Hollis”
were really lame but her metabolism was not one of them. Also, as much as my
friends encourage me to workout with them, they also encourage me to eat food?
MAKE UP YOUR MIND, HANNAH! DO YOU WANT ME TO BE SKINNY OR NAH?!?! As you can see,
98 percent of a girl’s inner turmoil is related to this.
3. Obsession With Your Perfect Little.
Getting a little is the first sign
that you are no longer a baby in the house. Instead of asking all the
questions, you get to answer them. It is so fun to teach them about the ways of
the srat life and also slightly corrupt them. Chances are, we picked our little
because we relate to them. Being in love with them is slightly narcissistic,
but in the best way.
4. Starbucks.
While Starbucks is an expensive habit, girls will wait in line for 30
minutes to get their favorite drink. If we are willing to spend $5 on
a cup of fancy coffee, there has to be a good excuse, right? Right… Well, I
drink Starbucks to satisfy my need for Chuck Bass so let me drink my coffee and
just be thankful that I’m not asking for grand gestures on your behalf.
5. Loving Fall, But Hating The Cold.
Typically,
Fall is a cool, dry season. Temperatures should be mild and comfortable. This
means opportunities for layering, warm weather accessories, and physical need
for hot beverages. Cool, dry weather also means good hair days. DUH. However,
fall weather will irritate you when it gets TOO cold. Obviously, the wind could
cause your eyes to water and ruin your make up.
