As the Long Summer draw to a close, you feel that cool wind sting your cheek and realize something that "Game Of Thrones" has been trying to tell you for five seasons: winter is coming. Besides having every single character tell you this fact at least three times an episode, there are other signs to let you know that winter is on its way.
1. You can no longer tell if it's 5 p.m. or midnight when you look outside.
.
2. Christmas music is everywhere.
3. Flavored Dunkin Donuts hot chocolate.
I'm looking at you, salted caramel.
4. You you watch the temperature on the thermometer slowly drop.
5. And you come to terms with the fact that you're inevitably going to die every time you leave the house without proper layers.
6. You whip out that second blanket on your bed.
7. ABC Family's "25 Days of Christmas" starts.
Or the countdown to the "25 Days of Christmas." You can't forget the countdown.
8. Which includes claymation.
9. And "Harry Potter" marathons?
Not complaining.
10. The wind.
Complaining.
11. Someone actually suggests that it's going to snow soon.
12. But you even start to think that Snow might not be a bad thing.
A Snow day or two looks pretty good right now.
14. And you only want to wear sweatpants and curl up by a fire in a cocoon.
15. You're starting to feel that winter weight creep up on you as you lose motivation to work out.
Thanksgiving didn't help, either.
16. The end of the semester is coming, too, and you realize that you don't know anything.
17. And your parents ask you what you want for Christmas, and you realize that you have absolutely no idea what you're doing in the presents/Christmas shopping department, either.
You should probably get on that.
18. But a part of you gets ridiculously excited for the upcoming season, despite the weather.
There's family and binge watching and snuggling. What else do you want?
19. And finally, you know that winter is coming because people keep telling you that winter is coming.
Just in case you missed the memo.
