The 10 Best Spring Break Destinations

As spring semester begins, the winter months are cold and harsh. leading you to dream about Spring Break. With the best week of the semester only a month and a half away, you start to get excited. The best part of having four years of college is that you get to have four different destinations for your break. Here are some of the most popular destinations so you can start planning for this break... or maybe next year's.

No time to update your passport? Don't worry, you can still have just as much fun without leaving the county.

1. Panama City Beach, Fl

Panama City has been a Spring Break getaway for, well, as long as our parents have been around. You have the beach, the sun, and concerts. There are even concerts with headliners like Dannic and Steve Aoki for this year's Beach Bash Music Fest. There are plenty of options to stay with all of your friends.

2. Miami, Fl

If you want to get a little crazier, why not go to the nightlife hub of Florida and spend the week in Miami? You have plenty of clubs and beach bars to choose from. Spend the day by the pool or lying on the beach, and at night, experience some of the best clubs there are. You can even attend Ultra Music Festival with some of the greatest DJs like Kygo, Hardwell, and Tiesto at Bayfront Park in downtown Miami.

3. Aspen, CO

For the people who cannot get enough of the winter months and hate to see them go, try spending the week at an all-inclusive lodge. You can spend the day skiing or snowboarding, and maybe hit the spa at the end of the day. You can even go snowmobiling or ice skating and enjoy the last few winter moments of the season.

"Aruba, Jamaica, ooh I wanna take ya Bermuda, Bahama, come on pretty mama."

4. Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

One of the most common Spring Break destinations is PV through Xtreme Trips. With thousands of other students, it becomes one giant party taking over Mexico. You can find kids from any school and any Greek affiliation throwing up their pride and showing off tan lines. If you don't believe me, see for yourself.

5. Cancun, Mexico

Another Mexico destination that is similar to PV is the Cancun trip by Student City. With the party package, you have access to their festival lineup and a whole bunch of memories. You also have a variety of hotels to choose from, with great beach views and five stars for day parties.

6. Nassau, Bahamas

It's only a yacht ride away from Miami, so why not last minute hop to the Bahamas? Spend your time playing beach games or snorkeling. There are also double decker party boats that will take you to your own private island, where you and your friends can take over for the day. Then at night, dance around and hit up Señor Frogs for a famous yard drink.

7. Punta Cana, D.R.

Another great Spring Break location is the Dominican Republic. With places like the Hard Rock Hotel, you can stay at a great all-inclusive hotel. In Punta Cana, experience paradise in a relaxed scene, spending your days at the pool bar, and afternoons at the spa

Now if you are looking to go somewhere a little bit further, maybe to visit your friends abroad, or just to get away from the city you are studying in-- here are some great trips.

8. Barcelona, Spain

For a Spring Break in Europe, Barcelona is probably your best bet. There is culture, beaches, art, and great night life. You better be prepared, because this city will keep you out all night. Catch Abroadfest to see some DJ's like Chainsmokers and Cash Cash.

9. Santorini, Greece

If you're looking for a getaway that will blow any other destination away, make an escape to the islands in Greece. Santorini is one of the most well-known islands. Its beauty makes it a great place for traveling from town to town to explore the various sights and beaches.

10. Eurotrip

The final trip for the indecisive ones is to take the week to explore as much of Europe as possible. Take the train all over to adventure into a new city and country every day. Don't worry, Eurorail has already planned out some pretty awesome itineraries for travelers like yourself.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!

There is nothing quite like family.

Family is kinda like that one ex that you always find yourself running back to (except without all the regret and the angsty breakup texts that come along with it).

No matter how long your class is, there's always time for the mind to wander. Much like taking a shower or trying to fall asleep, sitting in a classroom can be a time when you get some of your best ideas. But, more than likely, you're probably just trying to mentally cope with listening to a boring lecturer drone on and on. Perhaps some of the following Aristotle-esque thoughts have popped into your head during class.

Bob's Burgers
Adult Swim

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.
