There are a lot of reality game shows: "Survivor," "The Bachelor," "Are You The One," "The Amazing Race," "Project Runway," "America's Next Top Model," etc. I like shows like this because I love seeing the game aspect paired with real people -- not paid actors.
I recently discovered a new web series called "Third Wheel." It is a must watch!
I love the title because most people have experienced being the third wheel, even if they are currently in a relationship. The third wheel hangs around a couple, experiences awkward canoodling when the couple forgets others are around, tags along on dates, watches movies with the couple, and even goes to dinner. However, being the third wheel isn't always that bad. These third wheels get a chance at love in the web series, "Third Wheel".
"Third Wheel" is a game show that takes place in a car, where two people who think they are calling for a cab service go on a blind date with each other. Think "Cash Cab" meets speed-dating. Lauren Elizabeth and Hunter March are the game show hosts, and take turns driving or being the third wheel on the blind dates.
During the ride, the couple plays games like truth or dare, speed questions, and even bobbing for onions (yes, it is as gross as it sounds).
After the car drives around for awhile, Lauren and Hunter pull over and discuss the pros and cons of the blind date. Surprisingly, a lot of people come up with more pros for just having meet and talked to a complete stranger.
The girl sits in the car and decides if she would like to go on a real first date with the guy she just meet. If the car door is unlocked, they get to exchange contact information and meet up for a one-on-one date! If the door is locked, Lauren and Hunter leave the guy in the parking lot to look for another way to get to his destination.
"Third Wheel" is funny without being time consuming. Each episode is between 10 and 15 minutes long. Want to find out why this guy has his shirt off and the girl is giving him a shocked look? Watch episode one by clicking on the photo below. Enjoy!
