If you're like me, and you felt that your natural hair was just a little too boring for your taste, you may have decided to venture into the world of dying your hair. Here are just some of the things you've had to deal with if you chose to alter your natural locks.

People ask you questions like "What color is your natural hair?" "Why are your roots so dark?" and "Why don't you just dye your hair one solid color?"

Your hair is dry or damaged, making it way too frizzy for your liking.

You spend ridiculous amounts of money to keep up the color.

Every once in a while you consider buying a box of color from CVS instead of paying for the salon to do it, but then realize it would probably just be a disaster and your hair would end up a completely different color than the one desired.

After realizing you're sick of spending all your money on your hair, you consider letting your hair grow out until it's back to its normal color. It doesn't take long for your roots to grow back in again, and for you to realize that you totally have to keep dying it.

So you walk into the salon with your overgrown highlights, dark roots and damaged hair, hoping and praying that your hairdresser can work some type of miracle on your hair.

And then somehow your hair dresser performs some magic and makes your hair look amazing again. You walk out of the salon looking like a new person.

Although dying your hair can be quite the pain and a lot to deal with, ultimately it's worth it if it makes you feel good about yourself. Do what makes you happy and if that means changing up the color of your hair, then go for it.
