There are some classic movies from our childhood that we will never forget: The Lion King, High School Musical, The Cheetah Girls. But what about those movies that slipped under the radar?

1. My Date with the President’s Daughter

Wil Friedle, Eric Matthews from Boy Meets World, plays a teenager who unknowingly falls for the President's daughter. He finds out who she is when he picks her up for their first date and her house is the White House.

Memorable quote:

Duncan: "I'll pick you up at seven. Where do you live?"

Hallie: "Oh, 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. It's a big white house, you can't miss it."

2. Thumbelina

A tiny girl the size of her mother's thumb wishes she could connect with someone her own size. When a fairy prince, Cornelius, hears her singing, he whisks her away on his bumblebee and they fall in love. After being kidnapped by a toad and almost forced into marriage, Thumbelina is rescued and reunited with Prince Cornelius. The two get married and Thumbelina gets her own wings.

Memorable quote:

Thumbelina: "I wish I had wings."

Prince Cornelius: "Maybe someday you will."

3. Atlantis: The Lost Empire

In Disney's animated sci-fi film Atlantis: The Lost Empire a historian, Milo Thatch, leads a group of archaeologists and explorers to Atlantis. When Milo learns that the mission to obtain a power source will end with the death of the Atlanteans, he gathers support in order to save the city.

Memorable quote:

Princess Kida: "You are a scholar, are you not? Judging from your diminished physique and large forehead, you are suited for nothing else!"

4. Smart House

In this 1999 Disney Channel Original Movie, Ben wins an automated house, complete with a robot maid, PAT, for his family. He hopes his dad will lose interest in re-marrying now that the household chores are taken care of. When he doesn't, Ben messes with the computer system and accidentally creates a nagging, motherly robot with too much control over his family. Basically, this movie was way ahead of its time and predicted all of our futures.

Ben: "We're kids. We need fresh air and exercise."

PAT: "But I can give you synthetic fresh air and virtual exercise."

Angie: "We still need to go to school."

PAT: "Haven't you heard about home schooling?"

Ben: "Yeah, but not where the home's the one doing the schooling."

5. Quints

Like any teenager, Jamie wishes for some space from her parents. Her wish is granted once her mom has quintuplets. Jamie brings her family back to reality when her parents get caught up in the fame that comes with the "quints."

Jim Grover: "It's quints."

6. Model Behavior

A regular teen, Alex, and a model, Janine, switch places to experience each other's lives.

Memorable quote:

Janine: "We'll, uh, we'll switch for a week. Until Friday. All we have to do is swap the key stats of our lives and voila."

Alex: "You really think we can pull this off?"

Janine: "As easily as an angora sweater during a quick change."

7. Luck of the Irish

Kyle depends on his lucky pot-of-gold charm to get him out of trouble. When it's stolen and he starts to change, he finds out that he is part leprechaun and the charm was what allowed him to look like a human.

Kyle: "Oh no! I'm turning into a Vulcan."

8. Motocrossed

After her twin brother Andrew breaks his leg, Andrea poses as him in a motocross tournament behind her father's back.

Memorable quote:

Andrew: "Guys would do anything to beat you."

Andrea: "Yeah, but they'd have to keep up with me first."

9. Brink!

You may recognize the Princess Diaries actor, Erik von Detten, as the star of Brink! a film about a crew of in-line skaters who skate for fun, not for the money. Because there's obviously a lot of money in in-line skating. When Brink learns of his family's financial trouble, he secretly joins rival skaters: Team X-Blades.

There are three because they're just too good.

Brink: "Val and his crew were dissin' us. We started givin' 'em beef right back, but they wanted to hit it right there at school. Clearly, we couldn't step off, so we had to battle."

Brink: "We skate for fun. We're soul skaters."

10. Gotta Kick It Up!

Based on a true story, a teacher coaches a middle school dance team and helps them navigate social issues.

Memorable quote:

"SĂ­, se puede! Yes we can!"

11. Billboard Dad

Before there was online dating, these twins advertised their single dad on a giant billboard in Santa Monica.

Memorable quote:

"A personal ad on a billboard? The whole city would see it!"

12. Stuck in the Suburbs

Before he was on Saturday Night Live, Taran Killam was stuck in the suburbs. His character Jordan Cahill is a pop singer who accidentally switches phones with Brittany, a teenage local in the suburban town he's using to shoot a music video.

Jordan: "You can't blame the location, you can only blame yourself. The suburbs are just a state of mind."

13. The Thirteenth Year

Puberty is difficult enough; this poor kid was turning into a merman.

Jess: "I finally get a friend and he turns into a fish. Typical."

14. Like Mike

Calvin, an orphan, becomes an NBA star after a lightning strike gives him and his "M.J."-initialed shoes incredible basketball skills.

Tracey: "Calvin, I think you should stick to basketball. You know why? You can't rap!"

15. Read It and Weep

Jamie accidentally turns in her journal as her homework, wins a writing contest, and sees her fictionalized version of reality on bookshelves nationwide. Her journal's alter-ego, "Is," starts to affect her real personality, and she struggles between accepting her newfound popularity and losing her true friends.

Sawyer: "I'm going to destroy you because this is the real world, Jamie. You can't just zap me into a perpetual detention."

16. Pixel Perfect

Roscoe uses his father's holographic technology to create a holographic lead singer for his friend Samantha's struggling band. The hologram, Loretta Modern, tries to develop individuality, while Roscoe realizes his feelings for Samantha.

Memorable quote:

Loretta Modern: Perfect. Ugh! I hate that word! If I'm so perfect, why do I feel so limited? I mean, look at this place you've created. You're so lucky. Samantha, you get to be the dreamer, but all I'll ever be is the dream.

Samantha: "I never thought of it that way."

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
