You finally have a week off of school, so you might as well live it up! Whether you're looking for a blast of sunlight to relax before finals week or an outdoor winter adventure, here's some awesome places to go with your girlfriends, boyfriend, or families!

1. Destin, Florida

Destin is known to have some of the softest, whitest beaches in the world. It is located on the Gulf of Mexico. There are plenty of restaurants, shops, and condos around making this the perfect location for all ages. Under the Destin Bridge, there is a shallow part of the bay called "Crab Island" where people can park their boats and have fun in the sun! Some famous attractions include, Harborwalk Village, The Track, and Big Kahuna Water Park.

2. Gulf Shores, Alabama

Gulf Shores, Alabama is located on the Gulf of Mexico. Gulf Shore vacations are ideal for families, couples, and groups of friends who are looking to enjoy a relaxing, yet fun-filled getaway. Some attractions while visiting Gulf Shores are The Hangout and the Florabama bar is only a few miles down the road.

3. Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Myrtle Beach, South Carolina is known as the seaside golf capital of the world. Myrtle Beach is located off the Atlantic Ocean coast in South Carolina. 8. Nashville, Tennessee

9. Grand Canyon, Arizona

10. Panama City Beach, Florida

If you're looking for a week full of parties, this is the spot for you. The one and only Panama City Beach is known for concerts and parties on the beach all week long. Some attractions include Pier Park, Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville, and Luke Bryan's beach concert.

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum.
