7 Things You Need To Know About A Starbucks Evening Store

After years of testing out an the idea at a few locations around the country, Starbucks has decided to begin selling wine and craft beer in approximately 2,000 of its stores in the United States. Not only is Starbucks adding wine and beer, but a few new small plates will be added to the menu, too. These exciting new changes should be coming into effect for many Starbucks locations around the United States in the upcoming year.

Now, here’s the important information you need to know when going to a Starbucks evening store.

1. Alcohol will be available after 4 p.m.

So if you come in at 3:58 p.m. expecting a beer, you'll have to wait just a little longer before you're able to purchase anything. As common sense would also dictate, alcohol will definitely not be able to be purchased through the drive-thru window. You will be able to choose from multiple varieties of white, red and sparkling wine!

2. All beer and wine will be served in glassware.

To make drinks a little less likely to spill, wine will be served in stemless glasses, and beer will be served in tall pint glasses. For convenience, wine glasses will also come with a built-in tapas style carrier on top to make it easier to carry.

3. Drinks will be reasonably priced.

Alcoholic beverages will cost anywhere between $6 to $15 depending on the type and amount of alcohol. These prices are pretty competitive considering many other restaurants charge the same price for more generic drinks.

4. Beer comes from local breweries.

Not only will buying beer supplied by local breweries help your local economy, you will also have the opportunity to try amazing beer that you may never have tried before. Plus, when you visit different evening stores around the country, you will be able to try local beers from around the country.

5. Starbucks will offer more delicious food items.

These new food items will include wonderful new additions like spinach and artichoke dip with pita chips, truffle mac and cheese, artichoke and goat cheese flatbread, and many more that will just make you too hungry to keep reading.

6. It will become a great place to meet coworkers and friends.

What Starbucks is trying to accomplish with its evening stores is to create an inviting atmosphere to help people relax and be comfortable.

7. You have to be 21 to work at the new Starbucks evening locations.

So make sure if you're planning to apply to a Starbucks soon that you're either looking at non-transitioning stores or that you are 21 years old. Even though the normal bartending age is 18, Starbucks has its own policy for all baristas to be 21 years old.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
