12 Things Only Your Roommates Wouldn't Judge You For

The kind of relationship with your roommates is one that you cannot explain to anyone else. Others would look at you like you are crazy for some of the things you have done. You are constantly with them, sharing a home, one of the only places where you can be yourself and relax. Your roommates love you for you (at least we hope they do) and you couldn't imagine being without them!

1. Using perfume on clothes instead of washing them.

Nobody has time to wash their clothes every time they get dirty. sprits and spray here and there and no one has to know beside the roomies.

2. Passing out drunk anywhere other than your bed.

Everyone has those nights when it's way to complicated to walk up the flight of stairs to go to their room, so why not crash on the couch or floor for that matter. Sorry roomies you had to see me like that!

3. Farting and burping.

Home is the only place we feel comfortable letting one go, and unfortunately the roommates sometimes are there when it needs to be released (sorry for not being ladylike. Oopsies).

4. Party pizzas for every meal.

Listen, I'm broke, and the cheapest thing I can find at Walmart is the $1.36 Party Pizza. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner -- party pizza is the way to go.

5. Walking around au natural.

Best thing about being away from your family (mostly Dad and brother) is the fact that you can be free! Say goodbye to the pants, and bye to the bra!

6. Skipping the gym and napping.

Ninety-nine percent of the time, taking a nap over going to the gym sounds like a better idea. My thought process is like this -- if you're napping, you're not eating, which means you're not gaining weight. So going to the gym isn't necessary!

7. Wearing the same outfit for two days in a row.

Listen here, my Monday/Wednesday/Friday classes don't know about my Tuesday/Thursday life so why not save the cleaning and go round two in an outfit?

8. Lying on the couch for hours and refusing to move.

Who cares what it's like outside, you wanna lay on the couch and never get up. More power to yah!

9.Complaining about how much homework or studying you have to do but never doing it.

Why be productive when you can complain?

10. Eating like crap all day.

This goes right back to the idea of Party Pizzas!

11. Waiting multiple days to shower.

You don't understand that showing is seriously the most annoying process. Between washing your hair and attempting to get the tangles out while doing so, shaving your legs, to putting lotion on all over your body, to brushing out your tangly mess of hair. Personally, I don't care if I look like a train hit me!

12. Not knowing how to clean the shower.

We get it -- girls are gross when it comes to hair falling out of our head when we take showers, and we should probably clean the shower more often than we do. But the process of using cleaning products is above my head (sorry, future husband, not going to be a great housewife).

So thank you, roomies, for putting up with my crazy self! I couldn't imagine living with anyone else! Love you all!

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
