College has forced me to become addicted to coffee and, without a doubt, it is my anti-drug. On my college campus it is so easy to fulfill this addiction and to get my daily caffeine fix. However, I have found there are two types of coffee addicts in this world. These people either are the Starbucks coffee drinkers or the Dunkin' Donuts coffee drinkers of the universe. Where do you stand?

1. Starbucks drinkers go for the lace; Dunkin' drinkers are all about the leather.

2. Starbucks drinkers prefer the snow and winter activities; Dunkin' drinkers will chose a beach vacation any day.

3. Starbucks drinkers collect old school records; Dunkin' drinkers have too many designer purses.

4. Starbucks drinkers love a good indie film; Dunkin' drinkers are more into the romantic comedies.

5. Starbucks drinkers are New York City; Dunkin' drinkers are Los Angeles.

6. Starbucks drinkers want to curl up with a good book; Dunkin' drinkers want to see it on the big screen.

7. Starbucks drinkers are oatmeal raisin cookies; Dunkin' drinkers are sugar cookies.

8. Starbucks drinkers sip red wine; Dunkin' drinkers chug white wine.

9. Starbucks drinkers enjoy a night in by the fire; Dunkin' drinkers live for the club scene.

10. Starbucks drinkers talk on the phone; Dunkin' drinkers text. All. The. Time.

11. Starbucks drinkers wear Converse; Dunkin' drinkers wear stilettos.

12. Starbucks drinkers have deep thoughts; Dunkin' drinkers talk out loud.

13. Starbucks drinkers will find the love of their life; Dunkin' drinkers may not always end up with Mr. Right.

14. Starbucks drinkers are the turf; Dunkin' drinkers are the surf.

15. Starbucks drinkers read The New York Times; Dunkin' drinkers read Cosmopolitan Magazine.

16. Starbucks drinkers take Shakespeare for a gen-ed; Dunkin' drinkers take water aerobics.

17. Starbucks drinkers are Team Edward; Dunkin' drinkers are totally Team Jacob.

18. Starbucks drinkers drive a hybrid; Dunkin' drinkers dream of a BMW.

19. Starbucks drinkers want to travel the world; Dunkin' drinkers want to cruise the Caribbean.

20. Starbucks drinkers wake up early; Dunkin' drinkers stay up all night.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
