"Criminal Minds" is more than just a show about profiling criminals. Each episode gives you a life lesson, whether it be small or big. Sometimes it's an obvious lesson and sometimes it's not, but it's always there every single episode.

1. Trust.

The team working together on serious crimes shows that each and every team member has to trust each other because if they don't, one of them could get killed. Sometimes it's hard to trust someone and "Criminal Minds" shows that, but in the end, trust is an important aspect that everyone needs in their life.

2. True friendship.

Spencer Reid and Derrick Morgan show the true meaning of friendship on the show. They mess around with each other, but as soon as one of them has an issue, they are there for each other right away without hesitation. Everyone needs a friend that is either their Spencer Reid or Derrick Morgan.

3. Love comes in all forms.

Derrick Morgan and Penelope Garcia prove this life lesson true in every episode and if you have ever watched the show, you know it's true! They flirt like they are dating, but at the end of the day, they just love each other as friends and prove that love doesn't always have to be romantic.

4. Forgiveness is always possible.

Whether you realize it or not, everyone deserves a second chance, even you. Everyone makes mistakes and that is ok.

5. Don't judge a book by its cover.

For example, Derrick Morgan looks like a tough guy that wouldn't have a heart, but boy is that wrong. Morgan is one of the ones on the show with the biggest heart out of all of them and he gets that from things he had to go through. So don't ever think someone is who they are just from their appearance.

6. Sadness will happen.

"Criminal Minds" seems to always have something sad happen to a team member or someone close to them, but they prove that you can move on after something sad happens to you. It might take some time, but you can do it!

7. People will come and go.

Throughout the show, there were team members that came and went, but each time it didn't matter any less. People come and leave your life for specific reasons, sometimes an unknown reason but they do.

8. Strength.

If your job is protecting people and going after bad guys, you're gonna need a lot of strength to get through your day. The BAU team proves that you have strength no matter the situation or whether you think you have it or not.

9. Family isn't always biological.

The BAU team shows this every single episode. Anyone can be your family, they don't have to be blood-related to be family. Family are the people that love you and support you day in and day out.

10. Anything is possible in the world.

"Criminal Minds" just goes to prove this based on all the different crimes they solve. Never think that something won't happen to you because anything is possible.

11. Always trust your instinct.

If you think something is wrong or right, always go with your instinct because most of the time you will be right!

If you have never watched "Criminal Minds," go watch today on Netflix!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
