Amy Schumer, comedian, TV star, regular human being and most recently the woman who dropped the “I'm probably, like, 160 pounds right now and I can catch a d**k whenever I want" bomb at the Glamour U.K. Women of the Year Awards, tells it how it is. Her outer monologue is every human female's inner monologue. Her facial expressions tell you exactly how she's feeling and you empathize so hard. She's honest, she's funny and she says what we're all thinking. This list doesn't even scrape the surface of it, but it gets the basic point across.

  1. When the gym is just too much

  2. When you just don't know how to tell someone that the look like they got hit by a bus

  3. When you just have to admit to those guilty pleasures

  4. And when you have to share that guilty pleasure with someone

  5. When you give someone the most scathing insult you can muster
  6. When you just really need a glass of wine
  7. When you literally just can't and you're OMG'ing all over the place
  8. When you just don't know how to handle that sext from that one guy

  9. When you just need a good carbo-overload cry-fest

  10. When you need legit relationship advice

  11. When the world has to be f-ing kidding you

  12. When you're trying so hard to get the perfect selfie

  13. When you just need to rock the sweats

  14. When you don't have the Victoria Secret model body and you don't care
  15. When your outside needs to reflect your puppy-loving princess inside

  16. When you realize why you have game out at the bars
  17. When you have to help your mom send an email
  18. When you get that text message
  19. When you believe in basic equality and you're proud of it

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
