With Christmas getting closer and closer, the holiday stress is slowly growing. At the beginning of December, we always think we have everything planned out and know what we're going to get everyone, but how often does that really happen? Christmas is less than a week away, and I know I am not the only one who hasn't bought all the presents for everyone on the list. There are still a few days left! Fellow procrastinators, we can do this. Here are a few ideas for everyone on your list.
Your Beloved Mother: Candles, jewelry, a Kindle, or bubble bath stuff.
Your Beloved Father: Book of "dad jokes" or a nice shirt.
Your Brother: Clothes: socks, boxers, undershirts, etc.; he will always need clothes!
Your Sister: A watch, scarf, or something monogrammed.
Your Sweet, Little Grandma: A framed picture of the family is always the way to go.
Your Sweet Grandpa: A sweater with your college or university printed on it. Our grandparents are our number one fans.
Your Special Someone: Something thoughtful but inexpensive. It could be something as simple as a movie or a picture of you two. Just something that makes them react like this:
Someone's Baby's Mama: A scarf, a small purse, a picture frame, or something homemade. You don't spend too much but are thoughtful enough to have gotten her something.
Someone's New Boyfriend Or Girlfriend: For someone's girlfriend, a picture frame will do the trick. For someone's boyfriend, a nice, manly watch will be a great gift. Plus, this is the first time they are meeting your family. Everyone is uncomfortable.
That Random Couple That Just Showed Up: Always have a few gifts on standby for men and women. Keeping on-hand some jewelry that you picked up on sale a year ago will be great, and you can never go wrong with a watch. Run,
And One For Yourself (if this party is being hosted at your house, welcome to hell): Helping your mom host is a lot of work, and I do it every year. Buying yourself a gift is nice at the end of the day when you are tired and ready to stay in your room forever. Buy yourself something nice that you will love and forgot to put it on your Christmas list!
