Welcome to the place where DIY dreams come to die.

We all know and love Pinterest, but is everything posted on this website going to be successfully experienced by everyone? I don't think so, and here's why.

You probably have a whole board dedicated to new hairstyles that you CAN'T wait to try out.

Braid game strong.

Unfortunately, the execution is a wee bit difficult.

Trying to accomplish a loose messy braid will almost always result in it falling out within five minutes. So don't even bother.

Trying out some makeup tutorials will definitely give you the perfect look though.

That winged eyeliner is so on point it could fly away.

But the end result normally looks like a sharpie attacked your eyelid.

Every. Single. Time.

Everyone on Pinterest has the CUTEST clothes.

And those outfits are pinned on a board labeled "dream closet" probably.

For some reason, though, when you try to recreate an outfit it never looks quite as cute.

Close enough.

Your dream home is probably the perfect blend of rustic and vintage.

Is it even a dining room table if it isn't made out of distressed wood and iron?

But your bank account probably doesn't agree with your inner interior designer.

*Goes to every thrift store and yard sale within a 20-mile radius to find a table that isn't horrible looking OR falling apart*

That's fine though because at least you can make up for the furniture with a really great gallery wall, right?

So. Many. Frames

But quickly realize you have no idea what you are doing.

You'll probably need to invest in some cute frames, otherwise your home with look like a 12-year-old girl's room.

So maybe the DIY route is the way to go.

Balls of yarn. What could go wrong?

But crafting is actually really hard.

At least you tried?

Maybe try out some of the baking tutorials instead.

These will be perfect for the holiday party!

Too bad the snowman cookies are harder to make than the yarn balls.

Literally how is putting frosting and a marshmallow on a cookie so difficult?

Maybe you should just leave the creative things to the professionals.

Pinterest is good in theory, and impossible in execution. Look, but do not - I repeat, DO NOT - try! A tempting whirlwind, but best to stay away.

When I was learning how to talk, I was taught both Portuguese and English at the same time. In elementary school, I started taking mandatory Spanish classes, which I did well in because of my knowledge of Portuguese. Then in high school, on top of taking Spanish, I also started taking French. Now, in college, already fluent in English and Portuguese, I'm in the process of becoming fluent in Spanish, and I have a standard high school level understanding of French.

I am without a doubt one of those people who refuses to start decorating for Christmas or listen to Christmas music until after Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, Thanksgiving has become an underrated holiday over the years. You barely see any Thanksgiving decorations in stores; it's like they skip right from Halloween to Christmas.

Some universities only get two or three days off for Thanksgiving break. Or, if your university is like mine, you get the whole week off go go home. A whole week off is a long time. I'm not complaining, because I'd rather have a whole week off than three days, but there is a lot of down time. Here are some ideas as to what you can do to get the most out of your Thanksgiving break.

It's that time of year again- Thanksgiving Break is finally approaching. For college students everywhere, Thanksgiving is a time to relax and not really worry about homework (well, depending on what major you're in).
